General Music Survey

Post your favorite artist for each genre. You don't have to fill in EVERY genre, just the ones that you have a favorite artist in. Then we discuss about each other's choices and etc. Just one rule: Don't say you like everything, because I can prove you wrong, and don't bash anyone for what they like. It's ok to like Justin Timberlake and it's ok to hate m1dy and whatever else you elitists feel like standing up for...
I will also make notes on the more out-there genres so people don't get confused. You can always request to add a genre, as long as you didn't make it up.

**Think Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, songs with no real beat because every beat is different in one way or another.
***Think people that scratch records, usually to a hip hop beat/song.
****Think Sage Francis, MF Doom, and those whose lyrics have a little more meaning behind them, that tell a story, or generally DON'T talk how much clothes and bank rolls they have.

Yeah, I can't imagine what Tarja would sound like without the band. Even though they fired her, I'm not in the least bit tempted to try to listen to her solo.
