i hate it when people play barefoot....if u look under the bars it says crap about playing barefoot...u can slip and hurt urself...ic ant wait till that happens so i can laugh at them

haha yeah, i played in socks before... once... trust me it hurts. you keep smashing your feet on the bolts, and fuck does it hurt.

my sister plays barefoot just cuz she doesnt wear shoes to where we play. i always wear shoes cuz its more challenging to me in a way....

well, i find shoes helpful, i can concentrate on the steps, and not my bloody foot.

my friend's brother was playin barefoot on a home soft mat and hit a left and then a right and the pad slipped left and then when the right was hit it ripped down the center...ouc....

so....there are a lot of good poeple who play in socks...but it makes the pads slipery after a while from all the shit they go on there socks

hmm.. So Deep on heavy with socks, i did that.. on a soft pad, mind you, and i didnt die, i always play with socks, and on DDRMAX2 the only song i cant finish on heavy is maxx unlimited... : / shoes makes me think im going to kill my pad!

Socks are fine...

on soft pads. Playing barefoot makes your feet stick to the pad.

oohh yes... i tried that, it was pretty funny, i took the pad a few inches into the air before it fell off again, conveniently making me miss the next 7 beats or so, trying to straighten the pad
