Question for all you people

Should we have a "select difficulty" thing like in DDR? You know, like Standard, Light, Heavy, etc... That way even the Super Mario song could be made challenging.

it wuold be nice to have but it probably wont happen for a very long time because synth is working on a bunch of other things for the site that is better than that.

If we take in the difficulty selection system, a lot of stepfiles should be
made for each difficulty, and current FFR system should be remade.
That idea is interesting but takes a lot of time.

I think it better that we just remake easy songs like SuperMario as
an another more difficult song in V2.

It's be hard though, because they'd have to make three different stepfiles for each song. Yeah, they do it on SM, but a lot of the really good songs are only heavy.

Arch's MAX 300 From IIDX beginner mode is two freeze arrows, if I remember correctly.

Yeah, it would be nice but it takes a lot of time too. I'm not too into doing insane hard songs so other people would have to pick that up. If you have a song file and an alternate stepfile for it, submit it so we can have alternate versions like Stay With Me v2.

Of course it'd take a lot of time to finish, but think about it. I mean, I adore some of the Newbie songs, but I'm pretty much on the desk with my eyes half closed and drooling as I play them. And there are some great Difficult songs (which is pretty much "Death By Arrows" as I'd like to call 'em) that I'd love to hear the end to if I wasn't spasming on the floor with my fingers in cramps x_x'

if we did that, though, how many versions would we have of each song?

uhg, 70+ 200+ credit songs all at once.

The biggest argument against this is to much work, but really, half the FFR community is willing to make them, it would probably only take 3 days if everyone helped out.

It would be a huge file to load online,so if possible,it would most likely be a download version,kinda like Stepmania,except a little smaller. It still would take a long time to make.
