To ITG Players:
I'm curious. How many people have cleared VerTex˛? I don't care how awesome or horrible your score was. I'm bored, tired, and don't feel like walking home. Entertain me with your stories.
I've cleared it multiple times, myself, though that doesn't mean for any reason that you have to have done it more than once. One time is enough. In addition, I wanna know what you thought of the stepchart. Love it, hate it, don't care? So if you decide to reply I wanna know: 1) Cleared it yet? (Grade/percentage optional) 2) What'd you think of the stepchart? 3) If you liked it, why? If you disliked it, and absolutely had to make a 13-block for it, what would you change? Looking forward to other people's input on this. As for me... 1) Cleared it multiple times. My best is currently an 82.08%. 2) I love the chart. 3) It's challenging in ways which, upon the game's release, were completely unprecedented. The only part I dislike is the last run. The jumps on each beat are unnecessary. Also, although the song is musically incoherent, so are the steps. Which makes for a perfect match.

rofl greats + excellents > fantastics
1) no i haven't 2+3) the stepchart is ridiculous. in general I don't like many ITG charts at all since they're made in the same way that stepmania charts are. Stepmania charts are made to feel like you are playing the music yourself when you hit the keys. Playing music with your feet? Feels too akward for me. This is my own opinion, so don't go ape**** on me now, kiddies.

Re: To ITG Players:
Vertex and Vertex^2 are the toughest ITG songs due to the fact that the expert stepcharts are riddled with mines. Your best chance is to study those stepcharts before playing...
By the way, I still have not passed either of those songs yet. I love the stepcharts for they both match the intensity of those songs perfectly. If you can pass those songs, you are pretty much set for becoming a true ITG Expert. |

Re: To ITG Players:
Since I suck, the only hard thing I have ever gotten close to passing was VerTex expert no mine, yes I know, I suck.
And I have horrible endurance, so the reason why I failed is I got to tired to continue at the end, I got up to the last 10 second and failed. Ps: I have been playin DDR/ITG for about 8 months. |

Re: To ITG Players:
I can pass (hang on sort of) Vertex expert no bar c300 and it is still retardedly hard. The steps are fun but the last speed up where it goes 600 bpmish is retarded on both songs. That's also one of the things I hate about max. . Personally, I think Vertex^2 has the better stepchart even though I can get about halfway through Vertex^2 chair raping.
