This is going to be similar to Glove's SM tournament on ODI. Some things will be different, but if you were part of his tournament, you'll recognize a lot of this stuff.

Tournament signups start now, and end next Wednesday at midnight Central time. So you guys have one week to join this. If you want to join, just post in here saying so.

I selected about 100 good simfiles, those are the songs we will play for this tournament. I'll go into SM and choose a song at random for each round. After the song is chosen you have about 48 hours to send me a score via PM. Don't send in old scores either. I'll calculate the DP of each score and post it in the results thread (when I make one next week). The person with the least DP is out for that round. Only one person is removed each round, but I'm sure a lot of people will drop out for some reason, so this thing won't last as long as it sounds.

The DP table I'm going to use: IT IS NOT CHANGING

Marvelous: +6
Perfect: +5
Great: +2
Good: -2
Boo: -4
Miss: -6
OK: +4
NG: -2

You can play with Ridiculous timing if you want, but your Ridics will be counted as Marvs.

You can play any style you want, I don't care. The only mod you can use is Mirror. Noteskins and speedmods are fine. Hopefully you all know to play 4/4 with an unedited ini.

This is a DP tournament, so you can play with Fail Off if you can't pass a song. It's not illegal, though if you fail a song your chances of making it to the next round are slim.

Prizes? Hell, I'm too poor to give prizes for this. I guess I'll send my TGWP sim to the last 5 people remaining. I have a lot of hot, rare music too, which I'll send you guys if you want it. That's about all I can give.

Goods are +0 in all of the games, and I see how they should be calculated like that. But, if you get a good you lose your combo, so I think you should lose at least 1 DP for that.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see how a score of 2800 marvs 150 perfs 50 greats should beat a score of 2750 marvs 250 perfs AAA. Your marvs are worth too much IMO.

In regardless, I'll suck though.
