Hi.
Hey guys, newbie here. I just discovered FFR yesterday and was wondering why I never heard of it or DDR before. No... I don't live in a cave. Anyway, I've got a little question:
I thought I'd give a shot at "Trip to the Moon". Later, when I checked out the top ranks for it, I saw that all ranks at the top had the same score. Now, just how exactly does someone get rank 1? Does it depend on other factors like the least number of times the game is played to get to the top score or (this sounds crazy, but...) the first one to play it? Cheers. |

Re: Hi.
They all have the same score because they AAA'd it. Which means they hit every arrow with a perfect timing.

Re: Hi.
You mean to say that the first guy to play the level and get a perfect score gets the first rank? And even if you find the level the next day and get a perfect score faster than the first guy (faster, as in lesser number of times level is attempted), you still come in second? Hmmm. Now, THAT ain't fair.

Re: Hi.
No, everyone who has ever gotten all perfects gets a rank 1. I certainly wasn't the first one to AAA and I have a rank 1 in it.

Re: Hi.
Number of attempts has nothing to do with it. Guido's right, the most recently achieved score goes on top if two scores are tied (and on the vast majority of the game's songs, at least the top two scores are tied).

Re: Hi.
Thanks for clearing that out GuidoHunter, Shashakiro. Whoever tops most recently is on rank 1. I guess that's okay in a weird sort of way. Everybody gets their 15 minutes of fame until someone else comes along and knocks them off. There'd probably be no other way to appease the masses.

Re: Hi.
Well on the home page there is a panel to your left I believe that says Level Rank Stats, which gives the top 25 people on each song. If the number of "AAA's" is under 25, you'll still be on that list.

Re: Hi.
It's Game Level Stats. Level Rank Stats shows what rank you are in each song, then at the bottom, your average rank.
