From the looks of it, I doubt he knows how to make custom mods (as C400 is one of the ones you get).
They are pretty bad in the grand scheme of things, but it also depends on how long you've played for? If only a couple of weeks then that's good, months + then that's bad. |

Well, I have been playing for a few months now, but I usually stick with 1x, it's only recently I've decided to use c-mods (not that that makes any difference?)
I'll try increasing my c-mod, see if I get better results (I'll still use 1x on some songs though :P)

A few months, that isn't very good then, even if you were playing on 1x that isn't very good, but keep trying and I'm sure you'll improve. |

Thanks for your words of encouragement. I'll probably post more scores in this thread that I feel I've improved on. Could part of the problem be that my style is one hand too?

Well, I did as you said shadow, and, well, here are the results:
First attempt: ![]() second attempt: ![]() Third attempt: ![]() PFF! and there's not a lot of difference for NGCBD either: ![]() Maybe I should take a break for a bit?

I'll tell you this, if you can't read the cmod leave it where it is...

The guide to perfecting your cmod:
Start at C400, play for a week. Move up by 50, play for a week, keep doing this until you get to a point where you realise "hey, this is too fast for me, even during the week, and I suck now" start decreasing it slightly, say by 10, then work around that for a while to find your perfect Cmod. For me, C611. Also crimson, give it more time, you can't expect to be instantly better on a higher cmod, like I said, give it a week. |

Thanks for the advice everyone. For some reason, my wrist begins to hurt after doing just a couple of songs now, but I actually made a slight improvement on a couple of songs:
![]() ![]() 1x, last score was a B

Also, I just played Kilga's NGCBD. It took me two tries to pass, and I've played 1 hand decently enough (through passing Shining Collection, Wonderstory, ect.). There's no way that guy would pass it if he boarder rides Heaven. Last edited by Snowcrafta; 09-21-2006 at 03:40 AM.. |

Ah, I thought there was something fishy when sertman said he had trouble passing NGCBD, methinks there's been a bit of bannar nicking going on then (sadly I don't know who the guy is, there's no readme file or CD title to show who the artist is.)
@Patashu - that would be Razorflame's LF.
