So I started college today

I'm the funny guy already.

It was pretty cool though. I'm one of 3 second year students in a first year class (sup we all dropped out last year), so all the first years are all nervous and all that and I'm all like totally loud.

I had fun. ^^

My teacher's are cool though. They're not totally anal about my bondage jokes or whatever so it's cool.

Also my timetable is kickass. Monday afternoons off, Tuesday mornings off, wednesday afternoons off, full day on thursday and then Friday off.

I have classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30am to 12:20pm.

I have Japanese, Java, Composition, and Algebra/trig. There are a few girls in Japanese... needless to say, they are ugly and wapanese and like to show off their LITTLE BIT OF KNOWLEGE of Japanese, most noteably where it doesn't even apply (ex: in introducing themselves, they'd say "watashi no namae wa _____ desu"). Math? There's only like 10 people in that class, and none of them are hot girls. Java... hmm... computer class = no hot girls. As for Comp... yeah... there's quite a few hots girls... but that class only really meets once every 3 weeks

There aren't enough girls in computer science here... Our AWC (Association for Women's Computing) membership is up to One this year. That means the only woman *professor* in the Computer Science department gets to represent all the leadership and membership of AWC. Oh well that's what I get for living in Montana :X

Cry when you're an engineering major. I've never had more than two girls in any of my engineering classes. Spanish, on the other hand (and the two English classes I had to take), is FILLED with them.

Back to the engineering thing, though, the interim provost here claims that SMU is working to eliminate gender parity in engineering, and has raised the female population up to 35%. Apparently we're the first school to ever do that, but those numbers are most certainly not representative of the mechanical engineering classes. EMIS has a ****ton of girls (since it's a fake engineering major), CE has a few, and I have no idea about EE, but ME has next to none.

My schedule is fun. So much easier when you don't have to fill in 16 credit hours with three labs that don't even count for hours.

I started on Wednesday. Its not too bad. Just finished my last class this week. It's different to be taking the cta from campus to campus. But I only have 2 days where I have classes on different campuses on the dame day (Mon/Wed).
