How do you raise the FPS?
Because when I turned on my computor on today, I clicked SM, started playing. It lagged really bad because it was running at 45 FPS. |

try turning off vsync, maybe you have your monitor set to a low fps thing.

Should be in graphics options.
You shouldn't be lagging at 45 FPS. Jesus, I'm lucky to get 30 fps and that's pretty smooth.

I just fixed it by lowering the brightness of all the backgrounds.
Now it is running at the FPS rate I am used to, around 250 FPS. Thats why I say 45 is laggy, I am not used to it. |

vSync only applies if you're using a CRT monitor, so if you have a plasma screen it wouldn't matter.
P.S: Benji your AV scares me. |

Try reducing the resolution etc.
For example: If you're using 1024x768, try reducing it to 640x480. |
