New artwork

Well the art forum here never gets any attention, and I'm decently proud of this semesters work, so here i am to show it off xD these pieces will be shown at my schools art show next week, no real theme with this batch, but i like how they came out, im experimenting with a few different styles here, so bear with me some of them are sloppy.

this first one was done in pen and ink, dimensions are 11" x 14"

this second one was done using pencils and charcoals, i was contemplating a background for this, but couldnt think of the right setting, i was kind of inspired by resident evil for this one.

this one, isnt done on very high quality paper, but it still came out nice, its a portrait of my friend Amber, also done in charcoal and pencil (for the eyes) dimensions are 18" x 24"

this one was done in literally 35 minutes, done in pen and ink, 11" x 14

this last one is a bit more graphic, and much more poorly drawn, i didnt draw this in art class, so i was limited to a ball point pen and some markers, 8.5" x 11"

feedback is greatly appreciated ^_^

I like

Very nice, I thought about minoring in some type of art class, but the classes my college provide are 6 hours and 45 minutes long, 3 days a week. Not happening.
But very nice stuff.

That's amazing. I have no art talent at all. You have quite the gift, two is quite good and three is spectacular, it looks like a photograph, but with more personality and orginiality. They're all really good.

I like 2nd, especially 3rd wow you have great talent it looks like it's just been taken as a picture, and 4th is just amazing. Nice work with charcoals and pen. Good luck with the art show I'm sure you'll do fantastic.

Once again Shark, you drop my jaw. That portrait of your friend is just insanely well done. Don't ever stop drawing, you're incredibly talented.

The first four rock! I'd have to say my favorite is the 2nd one. If you decided to put a background for that one, it'd be even better than it already is.

I don't particularly care for the last though. I think that these are much better than the drawings you showed us last time.

I really enjoy the cartoony stylingismness you did for the third picture. I wish I could give some critiquing, but you seem really have the "drawing people" thing down, with great shading and correct body proportions.

Why is that Icarus looking figure lying in blood? And nice job on all of them. I can't draw at all o.O

The first one looks like it was done on a computer, not pen and ink. If it wasn't done at all on a computer, you have really good uh...accuracy.

If you look at the scythe handle and the top of her head, you can see a couple of places the ink smudged a little, so yeah, it's hand drawn.

Amazing work.

I like the last one, shows more contrast between the positive and negative space. i guess the blood adds to it. I can tell you put some time in shadowing the resident evil one. May I suggest doin a portrait of me I have A pic I can send. lol GOOD WORK...

nope it was freehand xD im very steady and slow while i ink a picture, comes out with much smoother crisp lines, and lessens the possibility for a mistake, when dealing with ink you only have 1 shot at it lol, so you have to be as careful as possible, like in the last picture, ALL of it was drawn in pen, i didnt have a pencil sketch to go by.
