Hi there, I bought the second (cheaper) holy night song, but no matter how many times I try refreshing or reloading, there never seems to be any sound coming out. Has anyone else experienced this?

Maybe you should turn on your speakers.

Lets try to approach this from a debug standpoint.
machine type? sound card type? CPU speed? Browser? Version you are playing? Do other songs have sound? Internet connection speed? I would be willing to trouble but need a little more to go on besides "it won't work". This is also the first time i have heard of this problem. Cheers, Synthlight |

Surely,
I have a Dell Dimention 4500 with a Pentium 4 2.0 GHz Processor and 512 MB of RAM. My sound card is Turtle Beach Santa Cruz, and the browser I use is Mozilla 1.3. All the other songs have always and still do work for me. Since you mentioned that, I just now tried loading the song in Internet Explorer, and it worked fine. I guess it's Mozilla that's the problem here. In Mozilla, there is no sound or background for that particular song (I can't speak for the other version of Holy Night, I only have the second), but it all works fine in IE. As far as I know, I am running the most current version on both browsers (0.65). I still can't get the song to work in Mozilla, but now that I can at least play it somehow, I am content (i.e., don't bother wasting your time fixing it if I'm the only one having a problem here). Thanks! -Adam |

It's Mozilla.
Long story short, only IE loads FFR correctly. Sucks, doesn't it? |

I'm having the same problem. Arrows work, but there is no sound or background.
I'm using IE, and my speakers are on, so neither of those is the problem. I'm on an eMac running OS 9.2.2 and IE 5.1 for Mac. I have 128 MB of ram and 200 MB of virtual memory. I've got DSL, and this is as far as I know the only song that doesn't work. |

Me too. Neither the music nor the background has loaded since I bought the song, I've tried it at least 20 nonconsecutive times, often clearing my cache first. This is the only song that that has given me these problems every time.
IE 5.2 iMac OS X (10.2.6) 1 GHz G4 iMac 256 MB DSL

Looks like it's Mozilla and the mac version of IE, cause I have the same problem in IE(5.2) for mac. It works fine using IE(6.0) on my PC, and on Mozilla(1.5), Opera(6.03), and Safari(1.0) on my mac, but not IE.
I hope this helps fix the problem, because IE on my mac is what I almost always use to play FFR. Joseph |

Too true, too true, why do you think I've got so many browsers on it? Because none of them work right!

Actually I use opera...that really seems to work. Havn't encountered any problems with FFR yet.
