i wanna start some anime, but i don't know witch one is the best series, Can someone tell me witch one i should look on and why, i have watch Green Green and i think that one is pretty good, but i don't like naruto

I recommend just starting on these two lists and reading the plot summaries of them all. See if you like it from that. Then get them and watch them.

Samurai Champloo. Really good soundtrack, really well done fight scenes, a good balance of serious business and humor. Just ignore the opening theme song and the razor thin plot in the beginning.

Actually, the OP set the mood fairly well for me. I'll agree with jewpin for watching this at first, as a good intro to anime.

Also, this has a fantastic, fulfilling ending, which I rarely, RARELY see.

But if you are looking for something lighthearted and silly like Green Green TV (The anime that blurk's Guri Guri came from), You should check out 2x2=Shinobuden, Azumanga Daioh or Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-Chan. All three are silly, plotless animes that will make you laugh, regardless of how hard you try not to. If you're interested in the side love story that was thrown in at the end of GGTV, I could name thousands. Just ask on AIM for that list, since I'd need to specify what exactly you are looking for.

Of course, Cowboy Bebop is a good choice too. It's by the creators of Samurai Champloo (actually, vice versa). But these two animes really well rounded. Yeah, they are popular but they are popular for a reason.

Cowboy Bebop is highly enjoyable, it's my ROOTS. Everyone should start with that.

Also, Samurai Champloo is really good as well. Get both of them. And Eureka 7.

Brilliant choice. Other than that i'd say The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Those two are my favourites so far. Oh and Cowboy Bebop. It's an oldie but it's amazing, I would be surprised if you havnt seen it yet. If you havn't, go see it now.

It all depends on what the kid is looking for. Green Green is pretty much comedy/romance/ecchi. If that's what he's looking for, I highly doubt cowboy bebop or samurai champloo are going to be up his alley.

Not that these aren't great series, as I'm sure they are, (I've yet to see them, due to lack of interest) It's just well, they don't really fit the school girlish romance bill...

That's all I need to read. What's wrong with broadening his/her anime horizon anyway? Im sure he/she just doesn't like one genre of anime.

it's not a matter of liking or disliking. I happen to like all kinds of different genres of anime, I just tend to lean toward genres I like more than others. It's all just personal taste.
