The first was amazing. It was one of my favorite movies ever. Now, it might be a Disney sequal but it's a Disney sequal being released in theaters, so it can't be THAT bad. I'll still wait for reviews.

I just wish i hadn't seen the trailers for it. I've practically seen the whole movie and all the good parts. Even though I know i'll still enjoy the movie, i would enjoy it more without all the plot spoiler. But this is the same with all movie trailers.

The only reason I'm watching it is because Johnny Depp + Orlando Bloom = coolness. No, just kidding.

I loved the first movie, I watched it so many times.

I can't wait to see it either. I enjoyed the First one and I hope the second one is good if not better than the first one.

I think I beat you in watchings of the first one.

Saw it 3 times in theatres, had my cousin burn me a pretty decent copy of it like 2 weeks later and watched that 9 times+ before it came out.

Yeah pretty much obsessed.

They're playing it at a local theatre place here that really isnt a MOVIE theatre, but they're actually having it there so i'm going as soon as it starts there. They're probably doing it there because all the bennies are here and they know they'll get a lot of money from it.

I'm gonna be extremely disappointed if it doesn't live up to the original. But obviously, I must see it.

Damn, and I thought I was obsessed. Everytime someone asks me what movie I want to see, out of our entire collection, I always want to watch PoTC. I've probably only seen it about 10 times though, so. .

First 2.4 hours: Good. Lively, enjoyable music, lots of action, lots of Jonny swanning around like a ponce. Yay!

Last 0.1 hours: Not a clue, because the goddamn movie split itself into a lot of tiny film chunks and spewed all over the projection room floor and we had to leave.

Just got back from the midnight show.

It wasn't nearly as epic or interesting as the first, and Johnny Depp didn't carry it like he did. It didn't even have it's wonderfully over-the-top-yet-somewhat-believable action scenes, either.

The ending, however, made up for it. God damn, wasn't psyched for the third one until the ending.

Cliffhangar ending was kinda dissapointing, I mean, I know they're about done with 3 right now, but they could have given it some closure.
