Since the FAQ is down...
...I figured this is the best place for me to ask this question.
How do you change the speed settings, like to 2x speed? I've played DDR and Stepmania, and I can only really play when the speed is increased....I get confused with too many icons on the screen at one time  . |

Right now, the speed mods aren't active. It's a feature slated for 3rd style (Read more info about 3rd style in the FFR General Forum).

As LD said, you cannot actually get speed mods in FFR now.
However, you can simulate them quite effectively by decreasing the size of the playing field via shrinking the window that you're playing in. This makes you see fewer arrows, so it's pretty much the same thing as raising the scroll speed.
