This is a common problem.

You see, on Windows XP there's this folder called system32 under C:/WINDOWS, and sometimes it keeps you from listening to internet radio, like how shitty firewalls sometimes block out downloads and such. It doesn't actually do much despite its size, and you have to delete it.

I did this, and not only did it allow me to listen to sweet sweet ffr radio, but it also cured my leprosy.

Make sure to clear your cache before deleting Sys32 though, just to be safe of course, wouldn't want your computer ****ing up.

Doesn't actually matter, it's just an urban myth. I think it would save time just to delete the folder, but if you want to be superstisious, go ahead and clear your cache.

Sometimes microsoft is a bitch and won't let you delete it normally, who knows why, they do all kinds of crazy tracking stuff sometimes. I deleted my system32 folder a while ago but I needed to use this program to do it...

http://www.docsdownloads.com/dr-delete-1.htm

It reboots your computer and deletes automatically, since when you delete it you're going to need to restart to get ffr radio to work (windows needs to restart to notice these changes) this makes the whole process go faster.

Just copy

C:\WINDOWS\System32\

into the Dr. Delete box and you're ready to go! System32 does a lot of bad things like cause popups and banner ads.

Hr2, thanks a ton. My radio actually works now. I might have to put on a show in a few days.

I am running windows 98 and I know well not to delete it. It is necessary to run as a 32-bit executor and is a vital component to my computer. Can not delete it.

These people are strangers to me. I do have extensive computer knowledge so don't tell me something you think I don't know.

Wrong. See, you do need that file to run the auto-protect feature on windows that for some jack reason is impossible to turn off. Deleting that file makes this function not executable, and so it no longer blocks FFRRadio.

PS this isn't TGB, we aren't all assholes here ^_^
