Default Internet Explorer 7 BETA

Meh, everyone has noticed about my zoom feature, and it's from IE 7 beta. Lol, IE is now like AOL, except a lil' better... maybe. Anyways, having the ability to browse the internets with multiple tabs is nice.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Copied from the website. Enjoy. Meh...

Cut through the clutter. Simple is good. A redesigned, streamlined interface gives you more of what you need and less of what you don't. The new look maximizes the area of the screen that displays the webpage while reducing intrusive toolbars.

Do more by doing less. Open multiple websites in one Internet Explorer window with tabbed browsing. See thumbnail images of all open tabs in a single view. Organize multiple tabs into a single tab group and save it as a favorite.

Print it right the first time. Internet Explorer 7 automatically shrinks text for improved printing , so all webpage content fits on your final printed page. Print options also include adjustable margins, customizable page layouts, removable headers and footers, and changeable print space.

Get news delivered directly to you. Tired of looking for the latest news and information on the web? Internet Explorer 7 can deliver the latest updates from your favorite sites to you. Subscribe to RSS feeds through Internet Explorer 7, and get instant access to personalized sports, news, and shopping feeds that keep you up to date on the latest information online.

Choose multiple search providers. Search the Internet directly from the browser frame using your favorite search provider with the toolbar search box.

Put safety first. Robust new Internet Explorer 7 architecture and improved security features help protect you against malicious software, and help to keep your personal data safe from fraudulent websites and online phishing scams.
lol now everyone is gonna think it's stupid lolololol.

Firefox/Opera.

What good is zooming, anyway? I can't see any instance where I'd want to zoom in on a webpage.

OH YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU.

Anyways, meh. Basically, a person's taste depends on what they like. Basically, if someone started with FireFox/Opera, then that person would more than likely dislike other web browsers.

It's simply about a persons taste.

Too bad every Windows user starts with Internet Explorer.

And if you're going to make a thread like this, you should explain all the great things about it. So far, all I'm hearing is "microsoft is trying to squash Mozilla by simply adding tabbed browsing and useless zoom features."

This actually sounds pretty good. One problem I've had with Firefox is that it sometimes sucks at printing.

I started with Netscape Navigator, then went to Internet Explorer, then to Opera 6, and now Firefox 1.5.
I might go back to Opera, seeing as it is a little better on memory and passes the Acid2 test, but I'm too dependant on my Firefox extensions at the moment.

you can magnify and shrink text on firefox... not sure if it's the same as this zoom feature or anything. ctrl+scroll and shift+scroll are your friends.

Wow, it's everything Firefox did 3 years ago and suddenly it's "innovative"? Good job, Microsoft - way to stay on the cutting edge.

I don't think Microsoft ever said it was innovative... but as long as it's getting better I'll probably download it anyways

You don't download IE7, it's forced upon you.

I've had IE 7 Beta for about a month now, it ain't anything special. When I tried it I simply was reminded of Firefox except with a different skin.

Lol I've been combining the zoom in feature with the screenshrinking trick to play FFR. I just zoom in and scroll down some. It makes me more accurate and helps me sightread better.

IAAW, try screen cutting and zooming out to 85%,much clearer crisp image is a result.
