Default Smallville Season Finale

Well, just watched it and for anyone else who has watched it, any thoughts, comments? And seeing that it's "TO BE CONTINUED", should be better, if it shows next week. Will there be a Season 6? Smallville cast does have 2 years left on contract from what I read.

Things are getting spiced up!

Yes. He was in the other dimension thing from whence Zod came, I believe.

BTW, awesome finale, though I'm VERY surprised how nobody died (Martha's life is still in question).

Yeah, I haven't been paying as much attention as I should have. What the hell is up with Clark's dad being dead. Are they saying that the show is taking place in an alternate timeline in which his dad died and his mother didn't? Or are they going to resolve that at some point? I have no idea what's going on there.

One other thing: Lex definitely knows for sure of Clark's powers now. How can they possibly resolve that and not have Lex know Superman's identity in the future?

Uh... Afro, Clark's dad died first in the original storyline as well. His mother just uh... died of old age I think. At least, that's what I took from the movies and some of the older comics.

As to what's going on right now with Zod and friends, that's completely different from any of the original stuff. Zod and fellow Kryptonians are in Superman II if you didn't know, and well, they caused all sorts of mayhem. (Excellent movie btw, watch it if you like Smallville, even a little.)

As far as how much longer the series is gonna go on, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Seven Seasons. Most drama shows go for seven, and with their contracts being up in two more years, it seems like this show is taking the same route.

Anywho, most of the story up until the original superman has been cleared up by now, and with two seasons left, we only need to see him get his super breath and learn to fly.... again or whatever. Anyways, it's sure to be two excellent seasons.
