Anyone else play DDR only with their fingers?

So i used to play FFR alot. but the buggieness and lag was getting annoying, and a friend of mine played DDR. i went and got his MAX2 because he just got EXTREME2. now i dont have a pad and i dont want to spend money on it because im trying to get a car and i only play with my fingers. anyone else out there do the same?

yeah, i use the ps2 controller. the d-pad is one whole button and makes doubles impossible, so i use the cross, circle, square, and triangle buttons to play.

try putting one thumb on the d-pad, and one thumb on the X, O, square, and /\.

You are supposed to play like that. Left hand is left foot, right hand is right foot. So to do a left-right jump, push left on the D-pad and O. You will get used to it very quickly.

No, you are supposed to play with feet. Controllers are worse than bars.

Well, I play with the Controller. I own on it. But of course, who wouldnt??? LOL! The game is WAY too EASY with it. I played with it to learn more about the steps. I got bored of the controller now and i am playing with the pad now. Since i know all the steps, i am getting better at the dance pad. ^_^

With the game controller, i got A's and above for ALL THE SONGS for ALL THE GAMES except for the PS DDR's and PS2's Extreme 1. I dont have those games...

The whole argument between using the bar and not using the bar has been done to death but i still feel like i should say something. BARS ARE THERE FOR A REASON, using them in no way lowers your credibility on DDR. I don't see no reason to not use it especially on hardass songs like PSMO and Legend of Max Oni. I do gotta admit that it does bother me a little when n00bs are using on songs tht are on standard or light.

Because you are playing piss easy Pad steps... play real keyboard sims.
