Here's a complete list of all songs, along with their difficulties and groups.
D=dance H=hiphop F=funk R=rock A=arcade C=classical ?=secret For Beginners (2 foot) -(D)Trip To The Moon -(H)Seattle's Finest -(H)Love You Anymore -(A)Mario 8-Bit Very Easy (3 foot) -(D)SkellyBones -(D)Halcyon -(D)Dance 2 This -(H)Return F Superdouble Easy (4 foot) -(D)Soul Shift -(D)Falling Into You -(D)Euphoria -(D)Terror From Beyond -(D)Get On The Move -(H)100 Bar Blackout -(H)This Beat Is Fo Tha Streets -(F)Too Tight -(R)Stay With Me -(R)Resistance -(C)Moonlight Sonata Standard (5 foot) -(D)Contradistinction -(D)Dendrite -(D)Salad For Your Tuesday -(D)Story Of Snowman -(D)136.6 -(H)Shag -(F)Funk In G -(F)Cat Walk 2 -(F)Slap Guitar 2 -(A)Legend of Zelda Tricky (6 foot) -(D)Emotions -(D)Massive -(R)Until The End -(R)For Who I am Difficult (7 foot) -(D)Beethoven Virus -(D)Breaking The Common -(D)Blank Knowing -(A)Final Fantasy 7 -(R)Last Firstborn -(?)Burnout -(?)Secret Zombie Room -(?)Fett's Vette Very difficult (8 foot) -(D)Life Goes On -(A)Bubbleman -(A)Metalman Goes Clubbing -(A)Mega Man Dr. Wily -(A)Crystalis - House Leaves Challenging (9 foot) -(D)HELLBEAT -(A)Chrono Trigger -(A)4f73r M3 -(C)Rondo Alla Turca Very challenging (10 foot) -(D)Uber Rave -(D)Stalled Out & Sushi Bars -(C)Caprice For masters only (11 foot) -(C)One Minute Waltz -(C)Revolutionary Etude For gurus only (12 foot) -(C)Flight Of The Bumblebee I think this calls for some changes. First of all, we can drop all the song ratings down one, making Mario etc. 1 foot and FOTBB 11 foot. Why do we need the lowest rating to be 2 foot? Also some song moving needs to be in order. For example, Stalled out and Sushi Bars is WAY easier than Uber Rave or Caprice. But I'll leave comments up to you in that regard. I'll edit the main post with whatever the general consensus seems to be. EDIT: Life Goes On is a Dance song, not a Rock song. My mistake. EDIT: Changed difficulty indicators to reflect new ones. Thanks Synth! |

I still think the )) idea is kinda bad...can barely read them. I think it should just be numbered. Plus, some are numbered wrong. I don't play the easy songs anymore but way back in Feb I noticed a lot of them were not rated according to their real difficulty well.

The feet are hard to read. I either there should be commas in there or something. You would use a comma every 3, 4, or 5 feet.
Examples for a level nine - 3: ))),))),))) 4: )))),)))),) 5: ))))),)))) It seems like 4 would be the best way to seperate them. |

The ratings "easy, very easy" etc..etc... Have been replaced to closely match what chardish has recommended.

u guys i understand that they're mislabeled, but as long as its not callin like Revo a )) don't bitch about it. They're guidelines, after all, and each song is gonna be harder for some people and easier for others. You're supposed to figure your own ratings for each song.

Generally good.. but after me is way easier than chrono, rond, or hellbeat. Also, revo is waaaay harder than fotbb, which you can mash through easily.

No, it's totally off. After me is fine, it's a bit hard to FC because of the end, and it has an assload of jumps, that's why it's rated 9.
Sushi Bars: 7 Mega Man Dr. Wily: 6 Beethoven Virus: 8 Final Fantasy: 6 Crystalis: 7 |

At least I can get combos in the hundreds on After Me. Which doesn't happen on Chrono Trigger or Hellbeat.

And those songs should be 10s, not only that, but they're hella offbeat.
Okay so after me is too, but not in SM. The converter made After Me offbeat. |

I think that the skill levels should be how hard/easy is it to complete the level, not how hard/easy is it to perfect. If you can easily beat the level but there is a harder 10-12 set of arrows in there a few times, then that should rate easier than something that is harder overall, but doesn't any hard 10-12 arrow steps.

Regarding what Arch said: wasn't there a news post a few weeks ago that said that Synth and BMR had made a new DWI > FFR converter that should make songs more onbeat, and that they were thinking about going back and converting all the old stuff using the new converter?
I think the post came out around when Beethoven Virus entered the game. |

Chardish, we already found out that the converter was messed up when we converted After Me. It has a problem with gap values.
