the tech isn't there yet. I think the only way it would work and actually have a point would be if you, i dunno had a splitscreen and saw what the other person was doing at the same time. But, you know, the lag an stuff...plus, those ppl with shit comps *me* would have alotta trouble getting it to work.

Well, theoretically, you could set up a certain date (say, the 19th) for one or more matches between two people. They would have to log on and play a specific song on that date in order to compete (otherwise they forfeit and the other guy receives a Bye), so you wouldn't even need to place them on head to head.

Still, the amount of databasing the whole effort would require would be obscene.
