Default Super Bowl XL

Just because it's starting to permeate other threads, we gotta give The Big Game it's own due.

Take your picks. I'm rooting for the Steelers. (If you didn't know that already, you are dumb.)

Holmgren is now one of the elite few coaches (along with Don Shula and Bill Parcells, as well as a few others I haven't cared to remember) to have guided two different teams to the Super Bowl. However, to date, nobody has won with two different teams. If the guy can tame Brett Favre, he can make anybody into a champion, including Matt Hasselbeck, who used to be Favre's understudy.

Detroit is HAWK City, baby! Go Seattle!

There's no way the game is going to be that high scoring. Both have top-notch defenses. I think it's going to come down to which team can force the first turnover, really.

I realize both teams have good defenses, but Super Bowl games tend to be high scoring.

I think everyone should make a score prediction. I'd be interesting to see who gets it right.

All I'm saying is that if Carson Palmer hadn't been injured on his second snap of the game Pittsburgh would've gone out in the first round.

Thank Kimo von Oelhoffen that you're even in the Super Bowl, steelers fans.

But I will root for the steelers, most likely. I default to rooting for same division teams once my team is gone.

Personally, football is the equvalent of getting raped.

Ok for a short time, then it gets painful.

Stop with the ESPN garbage Rythm.

Going to be a tough game, turnovers will decide it. Pittsburgh has been very good in the turnover ratio stat.

I agree with Talisman, it would have been an interesting game with Palmer in it the whole time.

24-10 Steelers Win.

I know, I'm just saying, stats like that don't really matter in this type situation. I wasn't attacking you.

Well, I hate any and every sports team from Pennsylvania, so I'm rooting for the NFC this year.
