How long did it take you to complete 'For Guru's Only' songs

How long did it take you to complete 'For Guru's Only' songs? I can't complete them, but I'm trying to get an idea how long it will take considering that I didn't play DDR. The hardest song I probably completed was Hellbeat.

doing well on them.... thats another story

It took me like, 3000 games to start doing well on them, but I suck >_>

I could beat them after about 200 games played or so, took me around 2000 before I was any good at them and could combo them well enough. Some guru only songs are easier than others.

I pretty much played FFR nonstop when I started, I could do well on streamy songs like revo by late Jan., early Fab.

some of For Guru's Only songs are pretty easy.

As for songs rated For Guru's Only now..

Uber Rave V2/Rondo V2/Force Of Light should be like Very Challenging.
Gradeus/Silence/Nova Pulser are For Masters Only level.
Balloon Fever/FOTBB/Molto Vivace may deserve For Guru's Only.

flight of the bumblebee is a perfect example of a song that should be categorized as a button mashing song and not one that takes skill

FOTB never really gets too much easier either, you have just as good of a chance of getting a good combo by button mashing as you do by actually playing, ESPECIALLY on Silence, cause you can FC it by mashing, and i can only get around 300 when i read it

Force of Light is Guru's Only and it only has one moderately difficult part. It took me a couple months to start doing well at ffr. I started at the start of December/end of November and now I'm over level 12 in FFR. I can follow most of the songs fairly well. Stuff like Molto Vivace is still way too fast, though. Then again, I play index so that might be why.

Silence imo is one of the easier songs to FC without mashing, especially since it doesn't have any of the stupid jacks that ruin every decently hard FFR song... I think I still have a top 10 score on that. Anyway, you should try playing SM, you'll improve much faster and when you come back to FFR you'll notice how much easier those songs are.

CIA Rave isn't "very challenging" either it should be challenging.

Actually at least 25-30 people FC'd Silence without mashing now (including mashing, 100+ people did),
it's even more than Nova Pulser. It needs stamina and endurance though.

I think it's a drawn version of the thing in his signature. Which looks a bit like Super Smash Bros. Melee.

I passed the Guru songs like most people said, by mashing.
