Well, not really. Still, I liked the PA on this run. (My high score you see below happened when my first miss came on the 601st note, for a max combo of 600. I've broken 500 a couple times as well, but I'm getting better with the trills.)
![]() This is a good speed exercise. I wonder how many misses I'll get on CIA Rave (I think my record on that is 23) after my fingers recover from this song that takes up the better part of 10 minutes? |

That's not a good speed exercise =[
Even go get "Air" on stepmania and play it at C711, that's a speed exercise =[ But umm well done on the score? I haven't played FFR in about a month, wonder what I would get.. EDIT: 2nd and 3rd attempts: ![]() ![]() Pretty crappy, but after so much stepmania the slow jerkiness is putting me off, I guess I just can't adapt and then re-adapt heh. |

ROFL, Dragon. And now for more combo insanity. (I have to admit, though, you were right about the speed. At least I'm getting a little better with the trills.)
![]() I always get into trouble about the time Afronova (is this what 1.5x music on SM is like?) kicks in, It's enough to make a man go mad. But I must resist. By the way, Female, you really should play the whole thing. It's incredibly awesome how all the songs are somehow blended together flawlessly by the single underlying Max 300 riff, if you could call it that. Thanx a lot, Scottish. It's good to know there are people out there that I can look up to who don't look down on me in return. ![]() |

Air C711 I feel would be a speed exercise for igotrhythm, am I wrong? Disregard is a stamina/endurance contest for me heh.

So you just mean scroll rate. Nvm. C711 still isnt to bad. Up at C850 is where i get fuxed up real bad. |

Man you're far better than me or igotrhythm. Sure I've only played stepmania a month now, whereas you've been at it 2 years or more. I tend to stick to around C525-C611 depending on the song and BPM.

How the hell can you index C825, Izzy?
Honestly... i can understand it with 4 finger because you don't have to move your fingers. But the reflexes you need to recognize the notes, move your fingers to the correct spot, all at that speed? ha.

You guys use different Cmods for different songs? I stick to C666 uniformly. o.O
And, err, even at C711 Air isn't that hard or fast of a song - now, maybe Lawn Wake IV...

The fastest scroll speed I can do is in the C600 to C650 range, so no, I'm not quite there.
By the way, since when was this thread about posting your scores on a song that I will probably never experience for myself? (That is, as long as the parents refuse to throw out this POS comp that runs Windows 98. As a result, the steps tend to lag behind the music, effectively turning faster songs into sightreads, which isn't easy on low res and C300.) I obtained that combo when I went to pay tuition and register for winter classes and had too much free time as a result, so I goofed off on the library computers. So I guess that score is pretty meh. :/ |

Bumped for PA improvement.
It's only the second time I've ever FCed this, but this run has me thinking about going for the AA. (You'll also notice I'm not using Blondie anymore. )![]() This one came out of nowhere. Jumping jacks always make a file interesting. For some reason, though, I'm not quite fast enough to do almost identical patterns in Disconnected Hazard Standard. Drives me crazy. ![]() I was surprised when I FCed this, but I had no idea about the flag. I like how I'm now in the top 100 on this song as well. :} ![]() |

igotrythm nice improvement.
Although i must say try to improve your good count on max forever because at the moment thats not highscore worthy lol. I also thought you were so much better than those pics??? You get all the r2 high scores now why not the ffr? Nice improvement. |

Yeah, so I boowhored the 16th bursts. I did manage to get the damn FC, didn't I?
![]() I'm thinking about going after Bubble Bobble now, but there are some patterns that I barely have the dexterity to hit. Twice I've taken an FC all the way to the 109 jumps at the end only to hit a stumbling block somewhere in that pattern, sort of like the minijacks near the end of FF7 Battle. Edit: I did say I would go for the AA, didn't I? The surprise this time was that I can pretty much SDG. Those minijacks in the beginning are tough to PA, and I think there's a jump in the 400-450 combo region that takes me by surprise because it's one of the old-school Flat On stepcharts. ![]() |
