What should I buy?
Ok, I just got around $300 for Christmas...And I'm going to the mall on Monday.
I already know I am buying a PS2, so what game(s) should? Preferrably RPGs that own to no end.

RE: What should I buy?
Just get Devil May Cry 3. It's the best game for the PS2. If you really must have an RPG, Xenosaga, FFX, and Disgaea.
But seriously, get DMC3 first. |

RE: What should I buy?
Shouldn't I get like 1 or 2 first and check out the storyline or does it not matter and just jump head first into 3? I was actually thinking of getting that lol.

RE: What should I buy?
Go find a girl, take her out to dinner. Then go rent The Notebook and watch it with her. Buy her some food, give her a present for Christmas. Then get laid.
:P

RE: What should I buy?
DMC2 is a prequel so it wont affect you to play it first, plus its the best in the series. Definately check out Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, super sweet RPG. Resident Evil 4 pwns all others, so that might be nice to play(if you havent played the GC version). But if your a fan of stories, you chould check out the MGS series, ya mean, dats hawt.

RE: What should I buy?
I've beaten RE:4. One of the best REs I have played. By far.
I think I will buy DMC 3 and just rent one.

RE: What should I buy?
It's sad, because I can't play any dancing sims without hurting myself. I have a bad ankle, so I can't play those anymore. I love them ='(.
I just found out that I can get FFX and DMC:3 for about 270 bucks. So yea, I'm going to end up saving the rest. And I want KH, SCIII, and Shadow of The Colossus. I just hate all GTA games.

Anyway, I don't think FFX is worth it anymore. Maybe for 10-15 dollars, but not 20. |

Its probably the best game for ps2 in the world. It has plenty of quests, items, weapons, etc. The levels are huge, boss battles are insane, enemies are smart. Oh, and theres axtra material you can unlock. and there is like 5 difficulty settings. GET IT. |

Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2
GotY the end. You are retarded if you don't buy these two ASAP. Best RPGs available for the PS2 (except Disgaea, but that's an SRPG anyway). If you like them, check out Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. Be warned that it's 80-100 hours long, compared to DDS1/2's 20 hours each, and it's also insanely difficult. Just the way I like it. Oh and get Disgaea too. If you have any left over, go for Wild ARMs 3 or Xenosaga 1. They're both 15-20 bucks by now, and make great budget buys. Fantastic games, both of them. |

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: What should I buy?
Uh... no. 1. RE4 PS2 isn't out in America yet. 2. The graphics and framerate are garbage because the PS2 can't handle the game.

Xenogears for an epic storyline, Disgaea for awesome gameplay and replayability and Devil May Cry 3 for difficulty.
I honestly don't think FFX-2 is worth $13. I really don't know why I bought it, oh god. Also, Xenosaga is great for that price and definately worth playing, but I still think it's a little overrated. And for the record you're a lucky bastard, I got $20 :<. EDIT: Actually, if you're going shopping you'll never find Xenogears or Disgaea, have to get them off of e-bay now. |

Atlus recently issued the 3rd printing of Disgaea. It's not e-Bay only right now.
