My first ever AAA in SM, yay.

I'm trying to gradually raise my scroll speed, and I'd just raised it a little and decided to take Quasar for a test run...hooray, first ever AAA.

Beside all the perfects, that's good for a first time AAA. If you can AAA Quasor you might want to try to AAA Delirium too.

nice job.. I feel like delirium is a lot harder than quasar, the steps seem a lot more random.

You mean FFR Delirium or some other one?

I have one for SM that has really hard Oni steps (with all kinds of doubles) not sure if that's the one you're talking about, if so there's no way in hell I'm AAA-ing that, I can't even AA it.

And I'm not going to be getting AAA's in FFR much, they're harder to do in FFR anyway...

I've FCed Delirium back to back before and I could probably FC it again easily but I've only FCed quasar once. I hate the streams in it. I think Toph's is like 10x better anyways.

My new method of FCing and MAing on Quasar is to play it without the music, and on Mirror. It helps a damn lot, gets rid of all my bad habits. I started playing Quasar before I got even remotely good so I have a tendency to mash the patterns, which kills my score, so when I force myself onto Mirror and sightread, I can read it with my current skill instead of my n00b one, lol.

My MA on it still sux, and I've never even come close to FCing Delirium because I can't combo the friggin' trill patterns at the end X.x

Delirium is easier in my opinion because its better synced and faster. Easier to keep beat on slightly faster songs for me. I can get like 1 or 2 greats on Delirium but I can rarely FC Quasar because I hate its patterns and its slow I often get one miss or one good. good job, work on MA.

I find ITG's delirium harder than Dukamok's Delirium (on finger I mean) just because ITG's goes all trill happy at the end =\

there is that one damn crossover in quasar that will cause me to loose the AAA (i'll get 0 perf and 1 miss before I get it)

and on Duk's delerium I always lose focus or get nervous at the end and get a great

On a somewhat unrelated note, hooray for FC, albeit with really crappy MA.

It's not even my best score on that, but I like getting FC's, and that's my first one on that song.

And no, closest I could get on Delirium was 3 greats (only tried twice), and I'm awful at trills.

Note that I usually have better MA (low 300 or so on that song) but always with a miss/boo/good in there somewhere.

Hmm I just played Emerald Sword for the first time in months and you really need to work on MA. Looking at that score makes me feel good about my MA, that is bad.

First try today. Like I said, there's ALWAYS a miss/good/boo. %&*!.

Far better MA and PA, and the boo came on a really slow part (as you can see, after note 1458) and I have no idea why it happened, oh well.
