Dance Pads vs. Keyboards

Does anyone else find it a lot harder to play songs on FFR with a keyboard than dancing on a pad at the arcade?

i find it hard because the keys are to close together, dancing on a pad is alot easier... but others are different.

I actually find it harder to do it on the keyboard that the pad. I like the pad better, but I am getting used to it.

I actually prefer to use the keyboard..... I was never too great on the pad.

They each have their ups and downs. On the pad, you have to worry about your balance (my biggest problem -.- ), which obviously isn't an issue on the keyboard. But on keyboard, all the movements are centralized to your fingers, and your muscles can get sore and stiff when you play a lot and go through a rough patch. Then again, it's a lot quicker to catch yourself and make up for it when you make a mistake on the keyboard than it is on a pad...

I jerry rigged my pad to my computer so i can do both but the keybord seems easyer to me especaly with songs like secret zombie room and flight of the bumble bee but with most othere songs it doesnt really make a differiace

Well if you use a keyboard there is no physical activity and your fingers can move faster than your feet (well mine do) so keyboard wins hands down. and

well on a keyboard you can use 4 fingers

on a pad, you can only use 2 feet

well if anyone can use 4 feet, please inform me how, I'd like to know

I do.. it's called the crab walk freestyle stance.

But seriously now, I played DDR before this and I was wayyyyy better on my feet than I was on a keyboard. But not anymore and I think that's the point that the person who started this thread is at right now. Don't worry though, laziness will set in and you'll want to do keyboard over pads lolz.

Bad smashman! Encourage discourse to improve our democratic system. I cast my ballot in favor of keyboards, because my fingers are shorter than my legs, and therefore require less work to use. Because more work generates more heat, and we are in the middle of a global warming crisis, hwo could anyone use anything but a keyboard? Pad users just hate the earth.
