87x, The Wrestler.
Some of you know me. Some of you don't. Some know a lot about me. Some know just a few things. Well, for those who don't know, Im a professional wrestler. No I don't wrestle for WWE or NWA:TNA. I wrestle for a local group called Richmond Lucha Libre, or RLL for short. I have been doing this with RLL for the past 5 years and I wrestled with another organization,NUW(Neo Underground Wrestling), before that and HCW (Hardcore Championship Wrestling) before that.
We aren't your regular wrestling feds and we don't suck balls like the rest of them. We have been featured on the front page of The Richmond Times Dispatch, Had a two disc BEST Hits DVD out, and Have fought Virginia Wrestling and Boxing commision and lost. I thought it be about time some more people on this site know more about me. So im posting this in hopes to raise awareness of what I do in my free time and to turn some FFR kids into some RLL fans. Anyway, Here are some pictures of me in action. Saved the best for last. I know some of these things look awkward, but live they kick ass. So, Now that you people know about my habbits, maybe some of you can come to our next show Titled: Btw, most of the "Hardcore" text you ever see us put on any of our fliers is a joke about how much "Extreme" advertising sucks. Or buy a 2 Disc DVD from us Including this awesome shit. http://richmondluchalibre.com/rll_trailer.html You can view other images from our most recent show by following this link. Or Check out our website at HTTP://WWW.RICHMONDLUCHALIBRE.COM PS, other links that came up by searching, "Richmond Lucha" or "Richmond Lucha Libre" http://suicidegirls.com/events/20321/ (Suicide Girls, Sweet) http://wrestlerant.com/main/article....51018135417668 http://www.richmond.com/news/output....r=1&position=8 (Really old article) http://media.gatewayva.com/photos/rtd/special/lucha/ (The Richmond Times Dispatch Photos from they asked us to proform so they could get action shots for the news article. Unfortunately I wasn't there on the account of work. But, I would of most definately gotten the cover shot.) http://www.alleykatzrva.com/calendar.asp (Alley Katz calander. If you goto the 11th Where on there.) PSS. If you wanted a DVD contact me through PM or Aim. They go for $10, but i'll have to include S&H for anyone that can't meet me somewhere for pick up.

I noticed you have rope tied around your knees and waist. Perhaps you should go more Ong-Bak and have them around your arms, too.

You can do a standing moonsault? Shit.
I already miss our local fed. Now the closest stuff is in Adrian, Michigan or Lima, Ohio. WWE bores me to tears now so I've become a lot more aware of the indy feds around me recently. Your shows look like a lot of fun and that costume is definitely sweet. |

Until that backflip picture your post was kinda *yawn* if you know what I mean. Wrestling doesn't appeal to me much. K1 fighting is where it's at, especially since it's real.

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =( In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz. So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |

Quick Fact:
We are second, only to the WWE, when it comes to drawing crowds in Virginia. We get about 350 people a show. Even when it was raining we had 250 come out. BTE, that was at an outside venue, which we don't use anymore.

I'm no wrestling fan by any stretch, but there was a local wrestling thing a bunch of my friends were doing back when I was in high-school, and it was REALLY SWEET. That show looks awesome, I'll have to stop by next time I'm in Richmond.

You would be surprised about how many people in the audience are acturally relatives or friends of the wrestlers. Probably 20-30 people, and that is stretching it.
I agree EB. Like I said before, the pictures look awkward as hell, but live, its a whole nother story. Did you watch the Trailer? It kicked ass. Im doing a new move in my next match, I think some of you have heard about it, called "The Shooting Star Press". Im doing a standing Variation of that. Next Practice, Teusday, I'll be sure to record myself doing it and i'll post still frames of it on here. Also, as a side note, A lot of the guys who wrestle with us have major martial arts or real wrestling backgrounds, (Ex. Horroshow is a master of Hungar, Sucio was such a good highschool wrestler that the year he graduated they gave him the job of coaching the wrestling team. I've actually seen him take down and tap out a guy who had 200+ punds on him) OH, and BTW Jursey, Horroshow isn't a misfits rip off.. that mask was custom made to an original design. If you look at the misfits skull/face imprent, and his mask side by side you can see the difference.

Man, a standing shooting star will be no easy feat - kudos on that for sure. I've seen very people use it period let alone from a standing position. In TNA, Amazing Red has a nice varation where he uses leg sweep to knock his opponent down and spins straight from the leg sweep into the shooting star. If you get pics of that, I defintely want to see it.
