Looking for Fun MMORPGs

Anyone know of fun MMORPGs that don't require payment? I have played like a few of the "best" out there. But they all end up sucking after awhile. The ones I used to play are Runescape, Maple Story(still do though occasionally), and Priston Tales.

So could anyone tell me some MMORPGs that are decent and semi fun to play?

If you mean no monthly fees but pay for the game, supposedly Guild Wars is quite good. Have yet to buy it myself though.

Guild Wars is a lot of fun for a no-monthly fee game. I quit when i started playing SM and Maple story a lot, but i'm definitely going to start up again in the future. You meet some great team players when you're going through the missions, and the harder missions are ridiculous. It'll keep you playing for a while. Of course, you'll have to pay for the CD, but it's worth it.

And I wouldn't mind games that you dl for free and play for free.

I'm pretty sure it's around 40-45$.

I can't give you an exact price, because i live in Canada, but i bought it for 50$ CDN at the EB Games near me.

Eve online is boring, and guild wars is fun for a few months or so, but then it gets boring.

Edit: You also might want to check out rakion which just went into open beta and opens back up tomorrow (made by the same people who made gunbound). Also check out Auto Assault and City of Villians which are coming out later this year.

www.softnyx.net had Rakion(and Gunbound), but the closed beta ended on the 25th and now you can't even play it. You'll get slaughtered in Survival Project, because I'm a quad star with a 9/9/9 forced set and sometimes I lose in team games. MS has a whole damn thread and you play it anyway. ROSE, Rubies, and GTH suck anyway.
