MTV shows

ok. i know a lot of people hate the channel( im 1 of them ), but i must say there are a couple of good shows on that channel. my favorite show is pimp my ride. what are your favoite shows on that channel? (if you have any at all.)

I love TRL because Carson Daily is cute and I love seeing 30 second clips of my favorite songs being interupted by half-wits screaming about nothing at all.

Oh, and sometimes I like to watch Real World because nothing is more real than a bunch of strangers living together in a mansion.

Every once in a while I will watch Road Rules because everyone on that show is a skank and/or dense meat-head.

Pimp my ride was okay for the first few episodes, then it became ridiculous...seriously, WHO NEEDS A F*CKING TV MONITOR MOUNTED UNDERNEATH THEIR CAR? Oh, I know why, because Pimp My Ride only deals with the cosmetics of the car and doesnt actually focus on actually getting the car to run normally again, so the owner will still probably still be spending a lot of time working on his or her car. It's like spray-painting a turd gold.

MTV is just a horrible television station. VH1 too.

VH1 has much better self-promoting ads, though. I remember those kittens a few years back.

MTV - Music? Television. I watched it back in the 80s... when it was music, not trendwhore asshats with no real bearing on life and during a time when Good Charlotte would be considered the garbage they really are. In a time when the music was the point and not the T&A and BLING. The last good real "show" they had was "Liquid Television" other than that... there really is no M in MTV anymore... unless you count the same 6 videos an hour 24 hours a day... Some shows maybe be "edgy" but...they whore them out too much too fast and they lose appeal really quick - and we wonder why the sudden rise in the claims of ADD and ADHD....

A better and more original version of PIMP MY RIDE (besides, I alrady know how to go to best buy and Auto Zone to get mainstream cosmetic parts, I dont need MTV for that) - Monster Garage...

yea i know what your two are saying, mtv dosent have non-stop music like they use to in the 80's. i think they should change there name? any1 got any cleaver ideas for a new name for mtv?

I'm pretty sure everything on MTV sucks alot. I watch one show and i
then have the need to drop bricks on my head. Or, start buying clothes from
old navy and the gap and completely lose all sense of individuality and become
a man-whore so i could buy plane tickets to be in the TRL audience. I would
probably smash my head between two bricks though. The only show that is on
MTV that is even possibly worth watching is...there is none.
