final score needs redone

I don't like how the max combo messes up the final score soo much. In most cases the other parts of your score don't matter as long as you have a higher max combo then the other guy. While I'm playing a song I usually guess how much I'm beating the other guy by (or vice-versa) by how many misses I have. But even if I only have like 1 miss and the other guy has 20, if he has a max combo that's 10 arrows more, they will still win. That needs to be fixed, seriously it makes me angry and it happens all the time. Dosn't matter how much work needs to be done, it needs to be reworked.

There has been a debate over this, and I doubt a score we-work would be implimented until a major version change of FFR.

Actually that is not always true, you might have more perfects and less averages/boos than them and you could still win.

It doesn't really matter about perfects, and the boos, it was an example. The fact is that, the max combo controls too much of who wins and in determining the final score.

In a way it does. I played a match and had 11 more max combo than the opponent and I lost because he had more perfects than me, but yes the combo does control to much of the score.

I hate the fact that your max combo effects your score. I think the combo should just be an extra goodie.

Chances are if you can't get a good combo on the song, your timing sucks too.

If it means that much to you, how about you just tell the person you're playing 1 on 1 with in multiplayer the only the regular score (before the final score) counts. Although it won't count in the database, it will count in your mind and that should be enough to please you. Other than that, just deal with it until like LD said, a major version change in FFR. which probably wont be soon.

I think the whole point in combo being important is because if you have good timing AND a good combo, you're freakin great. You can just have good timing and have no combo going and still win? i dont think so. If ur gonna be good, u have to not only have good timing, but be able to keep up a good combo too, to win. Thats my opinion.

yea, the "TOTAL(final) SCORE" mostly depends on how long COMBO you got on a song.

This COMBO scoring system gives people more chance to beat their opponent who is
fairly better than them, in challenge or multiplayer mode.
