how good at ddr r u?

ive only played 2 games out of the whole series (dancing stage magamix and dancing stcge party edn.) but i wanted to know what THE HARDEST SONG out there is and how good the majority of you are. i can do 9feet and compleat all songs on dancing satge magamix. the hardest song that i know of (that i can do ) is afronova. dont ask about my skills at ffr coz i cant even do the 5th diffuclty setting . thx 4 ur time

i forgot to add that afronova is done on the catistrofic (9 feet) diffuclty setting and get a B (i know thats not that good a grade but i missed 8 steps out of 400 so it cant be that bad. i also have never seen a 10 feet song. do these even exist? if so, i would like to hear from you. thx 4 ur time

I have passed Max 300 before which is a ten footer. But I stopped playing when I lost my memory card and I was too lazy to play all the songs over again. Damn, come to think of it, that was the day FFR became an actual site....and it took me ten minutes to figure out how to register. I guess I'm above average....

I am above average. I can beat Sakura, that is the only 10 footer not modded.

I can get sorta close on PS, and KINDA far on Max300.

EDIT: And if it counts, I am 13, and played only about....70 songs total. I almost got a B on Sakura first time I played it. Etc.

I'm 13. And I started playing around... oh maybe 2 years ago. Boy was I crappy at it. I was playing Beginner Dub-I-Dub. Yeah. It's pathetic, but what can I say. Now I do standard songs. XD. Yes. I know all those 12 year olds that can do a crapload of hard songs. Oh well, I suck

im decent but i have to speed mod, which everyone says is cheating, and maybe it is, but im so much better with them...

I'm fairly sure I can do Sakura and Bag easily (Haven't had access to an extreme for a while, max2 for me), but those should be at most 8-footers (Unless you're playing bag without speed mods, but then you're asking for it, it's like failing Kind Lady on stealth shuffle and saying it should be a 10-footer)

I can also do most 9-footers (I'm fairly sure I can B rythm and police, but my pad sucks and it doesn't help your grade when you have 5-some pad misses tacked on, no chance to try it in the arcades yet... C on hvam =\ )

EDIT: Speed modding isn't cheating, although there are certain benefits to being able to play just as well with or without them (Think oni mode and tourneys where your opponent gets to pick the mods)

umm i started ddr over a year ago, and im 14. yea i am pretty good now. i can pas all nines pretty easily, but only a couple tens. i get decently far in max 300, but i can't pass it. is So Deep a ten? i can pass it pretty easily.

All of this talk of 9footers and 10 footers! ok..ok ok either in AZ we're just weird or we just having this nagging thing of also throwing in what stage like level thing. >.< Sorry I'm just stupid like that. But yeah I suck at ddr. I've played for over a year and I'm still stuck on Standard mode on 6 footers on Arcade machines but on the games controller I am just your average Heavy-addict.

I dont know what you mean I've never heard a AZ'r (assuming your talking about arizona) nag about throwing in what stave level like thing but I know a kid whos also been playing for a year and can do standards. I've been playing for 1 year and I can do 10 footers, but not pass any. I can pass 9 footers but not all like HV AM for some reason, but I can pass all teh Paranoias and teh Healing Vision with an A.

Are you sure you've tried every song in the series? Paranoia Rebirth, PS, and PSM/O are all harder than HVAM...

On a side note, add Afronova and Justify My Love to the 9-footers passed list... I was sorta dissapointed, I had heard a lot about afronova and how hard it was and then passed it on my first try =\

DDR requires you to be so exact and it goes to slow and the songs are mainly awful. Pump it up is much better.

Yea, I just cant get the timing right on HVAM...I also havent played Paranoia Survivor, I guess I Wasn't too much aware of that one.

Timing problems on HVAM? The whole song is eighth notes, and it runs at a pretty steady beat (190 or 200 bpm or something like that, besides the beginning and ending slowdown, but those only contain 3 steps)... How can you possibly mess up the rythm of steady eighth note runs X_X

Also, PIU requires less timing, and therefore DDR requires MORE SKILL. If you can't get the timing right it's because you aren't good enough. There are also speed mods for those who think the arrows go too slow. I can understand someone not liking the songs, seeing as how they are more techno-y than PIU songs, but frankly, I like a good share of the DDR music. You're saying the music sucks as a fact based on an opinionated basis...

And Pump it up sucks. As for the comment about HVAM, the only part that is challenging is getting a good score at the beginning, with all the < \/ > /\ < \/ /\'s and shit.

And I AA pretty much everything I play, would have SDG'ed Groove 2001 with 3 greats if I hadn't screwed up so badly in the end on the stupid simple 123, 123, 1232123 8th compilations >_<
