Default Adopting a Noob.

I feel like adopting a noob. So anyone want to be adopted by me?

Adopt iamthesnowman2 or whatever his name is, he's annoying.

EDIT: You're not old enough to adopt a n00b.

I have another file. And I have a post that says I lost my noob status. And Hell No. I'm not adopting that guy. He's stupid.

I've never seen you before. Therefore you are a newb. Live with it.

The point of adopting a n00b is so you can make them not stupid.

Now now, lets not be like that... And just so you know, just because one person says you have lost your n00b status does not mean you are no longer a n00b. It was a matter of opinion. And even if you are no longer a n00b, it doesn't mean you are "developed" enough to adopt someone already.

What difference does that make? Both files are the same person. Each file is equally as n00bish. Whether very n00bish or slighty n00bish.

Wow, adopting a noob sounds like a wicked idea. Wish i was not so much of a noob myself so i could do it. Oh well. Must find out more, i am guessing there is a post explaning it somewhere, time for a quick search i think.

Also Tonberry, i kind of agree with everyone else, the way you have been acting on this thread makes you seems still pretty noobish, no offence.

I guess I have been acting a bit noobish. How long do I have to be a member or how many posts till I can adopt a noob then?

Edit: My other file is Isaacs505. He's been a member since I think May 31, 2004. If you don't believe me, then too bad.

You're still a n00b.

PS: I could adopt about 80-90% of the people on this site.

My guess of being a newbie would be the following:

1.) A lack of knowing the rules of the forum.
2.) You have a very big number of questions in your head about the forum.
3.) You have not been a member to the forum very long.

If you wish to be considered no longer a newbie, do the following:

1.) Be at least a 2 month member of these boards.
2.) Use proper grammer and spelling.
3.) Learn what the answers to your previous questions are.

If you want to adopt a newbie, then you must be able to answer most of the questions they have, and show them how to post so it is readable. Otherwise, it is not really adopting, and you're just making a friend.

Another thing. You dont become a non-n00b by being a part of FFR for a long time or by making a ton of posts. Anybody can do that. Experience is a part of it, but there is a lot else involved.

Angel-d, it's called the "adopt a n00b foundation" by M-A-C. It is now a locked topic in the garbage bin.
