![]() OK, I am going to try to understand this. Your arms hurt when you play Delirium above your wrists because your MUSCLES aren't really trained for this type of work. K

![]() adjust your arm positions. the way u bend ur wrist causes forearm pain. or tensing your arm muscles while playin does that too. try using ur wrists more than ur arms.

![]() Yes wrists only... the only time I tend to use my arms is on really fast trill, jacks, and on 90% of reality.

![]() Your hands and arms aren't used to playing like this. You're just conditioning yourself. You will get used to it where you will not feel anything sooner or later, making playing easier.

![]() Just don't mash and your arms wont hurt. If you become good enough to get higher combos on this song, then by that time you'll be used to hitting arrows at a nice speed.

![]() Sounds like you're not used to songs that go as fast as that. Hmm...I'd suggest moderately fast songs like Sonic 2 Boss Machine and maybe FF7 Battle to get yourself used to faster crossovers and gallops, and sixteenth notes in general. If you're feeling really ambitious after that, you could try Burnout.
Yeah, two hands are almost a necessity for songs as fast as Delirium. And about the part about arms and mashing...that happened to me first time I passed Silence. The pain was so totally worth it, though. ![]() |

![]() Reading your post hurt my brain "musles".
Out of curiosity, which playing style is more intensive on the muscles? Does anyone know? I would think index since you have to move your wrist in its entirety oppose to pivoting it, but then again that may be more relaxing. |

![]() Not really. Indexes are worse than one handed. because with one handed, there are a few tricks in order to avoid your middle finger's death.
Like, for example, when you have a stream like: Left, Up, Down, Right, Left, Up, Down, Right, etc. you can do: Index finger left. Middle finger up. Index finger down. Fourth finger (whatever its name is, I'm not good with English vocabulary) right. Index finger left. ... At least that's my style, and it makes songs like Delirium easier; even though you can't do that always because sometimes you are forced to press two arrows with the middle finger consecutively, like on left, down, up, right. My hand used to hurt, but now it doesn't anymore, except after mash songs. So yeah, you need to get used to it.

![]() One handed is much harder...
Why do you think when somebody posts a one handed score on a hard song, everybody finds it to be an accomplishment? When people pass FOTS one handed, everyone is like "OMG THATS INSANE STAMINA GJ" because its much harder to do one handed... why? because you tire out faster. True, you can't move as fast one handed, but you can't last as fast one handed either... wrists have more stamina then just fingers by themselves =\

PS Yes, onehanded is worse than index. By far.

Explain why no one hander can full combo Emerald Sword, while indexers have gotten 9 perfects on it.
