RE: ddrruler
Make sure you take it slowly. If you do a lot of weight when you first start out, you're likely to pull muscles and injure yourself so you won't be able to do anything for many days or a few weeks. Take it easy, add on a little at a time. Good luck.

Thats nice ruler... but, uh... what are we supposed to post? You didn't ask for anything, just stated your plans.
Also, I think you mean Kenpo (in which I have a black belt)... Kendo is Japanese swordfighting, while Kenpo is similar to Tae Kwon-Do. Lastly, by "whatever for each arm", do you mean repetitions?

RE: ddrruler
You should actually be doing a much smaller number of reps in sets. Say, 25 reps of curls, 25 reps of chest presses, 25 reps of dumbbell rows (just as an example), two or three sets a day, three days a week, along with cardio workouts (or you won't see any body definition). Situps are very bad for your back. You should try crunches and leg lifts. It's generally unwise to do strength training daily, because your muscles need a day off to repair, and that's what will give you definition.
I agree with AP, it really doesn't sound like you know what you're doing. Cutting back on sugar is good, though -- make sure you avoid stuff with artificial sweeteners as they only increase your cravings for sugar. You should try getting a gym membership or check out some fitness websites. I'd be happy to give you a link to the site from which I get email newsletters. EDIT: added stuff. |

Also, what benefit would you gain from cutting off the internet? You couldn't possibly train all day long. If you can, then you aren't doing enough. |

Yes, He is going to be going through carbs really fast, and so pasta will be fine on the days that he works out.
You might want to also try a Calcium/Magnesium/Potassium/Zinc supplement. That will keep your soreness incredibly down. |

RE: Re: RE: ddrruler
Really though. Don't overdo it. 4 months ago, I was trying to deadlift 240 and my right leg went out on me. I could barely walk for at least 3 weeks and it still gives me some pain once and a while. I couldn't squat almost ANY weight for 6-7 weeks. Now I can finally deadlift 300 and like 2 weeks ago I squatted 255. w00t. Oh, and don't do steroids. XD.
