Current science says that time is only a function of gravity. So, is it even possible for there be a time before gravity? Better yet, Since there was no gravity during the Big Bang, is there such a thing as before the Big Bang? I hope none of you take me too seriously because, frankly, I don't like having to argue with people. If this is something you already know, good for you. Do yourself a favor and don't sound like an ass.

well, i think i remember reading in "a brief history of time" that there was a time before the big bang. the thing is that all the matter in the universe would have been in a single point of infinite density. so all the laws of physics would have broken down, so there's really no need to think about what happened before the big bang because nothing can be hypothesized due to the inabilities to explain anything outside of the laws of the current universe.

I'm sick of saying the same thing over and over in CT about things like this.... READ OTHER TOPICS BEFORE MAKING YOUR OWN.
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...wtopic&t=27547 That is just the most recent. There have been at least 2 others, probably more. Enjoy. Plus... There have been 3 posts in this thread, and the only worthwhile words were Guido's "what" and "no". EDIT: Oh yea. Since Guido answered your questions, locked.
