Default Lockdown at school!

I was in my 5th period, doing science, when the lunch bell rang, but they said that stay in your classroom still. So we waiting what happened. Soon they said that, freaky, that our school was in a state of lockdown. So we covered our windows with blinds, the teacher put boxes at the door, turn off the lights, and everyone was under the tables. Soon they said that the Riverside Police has cancelled the search and we got out to eat. One student told me that a crazy guy ran to our school carrying guns, knives, and chains. Have anyone ever expericened lockdown before?

Yea, I was in 5th grade, and asked to go to the bathroom.

I was supprised to find that EVERY SINGLE BATHROOM WAS LOCKED.

When I got back to my classroom, they said go to your homeroom, and we were locked down for 2 hours. Apparently, a kid brought a gun to school to sell it.

Anyways, the next day, like everyone didn't go to schoo, because there was a rumor that someone said "If I get caught, you do the shooting tomorrow"

Nothing happened.

My school had one a few weeks ago just so the police dogs could go up and down the halls for illegal substances. They got a good amount of kids too.

My friend said that in he was in 5th grade and in PE someone broke his neck and couldn't feel his back, and it was to risky for the ambulance, so my friend and everyone else was sent to their classrooms so that he can be airlifted by a helicoptor and be sent to a faraway hospital...

We had a lock down in Israel.
4th grade.
Well, we had to go down the big metal basement of our school because it was serious.
Someone was bombing our school.
It was stupid they should have let us out, and run out of the school.
I was injured badly O.O

..Are you an idiot? If someone is bombing your school, the LAST thing you should do is run out in clear view. Especially a large group of people.

Anyways, come to my area (Greenville, NC and surrounding locations) and you experience these on an almost monthly basis. Our school system absolutely sucks. Even the middle schools have people being shot, attempted kidnappings, and more.

No i'm not an idiot.
I'm Israeli =D
If you run on one direction from that school, you would be safe, since they were only bombing the INSIDE of the school. The "bombers" were INSIDE the school.
I was INSIDE the school, and got injured badly.
Like i said before, we should have known earlier, and ran out in the escape exit.

If that was 4th grade, what grade are you in now? One more thing, how badly you got injured? Did you had to amputate any legs or arms?

11th grade.

Got injured from the back, something flew in... (i'll ask my mom and i'll edit this when i find out what)
In the hospital i heard they were saying.. Stuff in hebrew of course, that i'm trying to remember.
Ambulance Medic: One out of three like her are coming in
Medic: What was the cause of this?
Ambulance Medic: Flying.. (forgot what) Through the back and a shocking heart attack.
Medic: We need a cat-scan, is it in use..?
Nurse.. or.. medic: I think we would need to check the rate of the heart while she is unconscience.

Want more details? I think not.

Had a couple lockdowns to check for drugs in my school... but I think the wierdest one was just in Jan... we had a week of -40... and the next week it got up to +10 C... that's... roughly +15 F. So, ya, some ice melted... rained... EVERYTHING shut down... busses, taxis, everything. (I'm up in Canada... we're used to cold, brutal winters) (And it's pretty much law here that schools won't close due to bad weather) Anyways, the college and university here closed, and all the grade schools refused to let kids walk home, and were very picky on parents picking them up. Lol, poor kids had to stay at the schools overnight. (I graduated last year. I got to stay home ^^)

If there was ever a lockdown at my school, I'd get put into a foster home.

Last year in Alternative School, some kid had gum in his sock.
Of course, gum isn't aloud in Alternative School, so the really short Cop/School Leazon (I know I'm not spelling it right) had to chase the huge 7 foot tall kid through the halls. I liked having to stay in Math because she let us play on the computers. Otherwise, everything was locked up so he couldn't get anywhere. They found some marijuana in his other sock.

At my school we have "practice lockdowns" where the teachers lock the doors
and tell all the students to go under the desks. In case something ever really
does happen we will be so prepared.
