Best. Idea. EVER.
Basically, it's an alarm clock that hides itself in a new spot every day, and when it goes off, you have to get out of bed to find it. Brilliant. |

It would probably stop at the exact same spot each day rendering it useless. I can get up and walk around a good amount of time and pass out again easily...

They could make a special clock for you. It would be a robot this wakes you up by beating the crap out of you.
And you have to pull out it's batteries to turn it off. |

or you could stop trying to be funny. =O
I'd buy Clocky, but my room isn't that big, and it's probably break falling off my drawers. Still, I can almost never wake up to my alarm because I keep hitting the snooze button. And by the looks of it, Clocky would blend into my carpet.

Haha, that would be awesome. I'd buy one if it was cheap enough.
But what if you can't find it? Or what if it gets stuck somewhere you can't reach? |

So I had to reply to this. Alarm clocks are getting insane. Recently I've seen designs for two other creative alarm clocks, all of which are designed to piss you off.
The first is a clock that, when it goes off, forcefully ejects four pieces from its top which fly across the room. In order to shut the clock off, you have to find all the pieces and reassemble them (they're puzzle pieces). On top of this, it's battery-powered, so you can't just unplug it. The other one is a clock that hangs from your ceiling by a rope. In the morning it starts ringing, and in order to snooze for ten minutes, you have to strike it. Thing is, when you snooze, it recoils up the rope. So, the more you want to snooze, the further you have to reach until you just have to stand on the bed to pull it back down and reset it. Both of these were found on gizmodo.com, but I can't seem to find the links at the moment. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |
