The G-Mail invite system is only in place because they think it promotes the site by appearing more "exclusive" even though if you want an account, you would have absolutely no difficulty getting one. I just find G-mail inconvenient. Good for uploading lotsa crap and that's it.

I can vouch for this.
I got mine up and running sometime within a day. I wasn't even paying attention. I didn't even want one, but with 1,300+ available, who wouldn't take one? ~Squeek |
