jTWG III Postgame
Humans played a good game but the wolves played an even better one. slackygorgeking won it for the wolves.
Roles: ddrruler (WOLF) slackygorgeking (WOLF) dAnceguy117 Freak83 (GUARDIAN) deltro300111 (PSYCHIC) Demon_Of_The_Comet qualy patron_viridantis babybenji2004 daniel_lewis20 Spheroid (SEER) VashtheGunman7 Rye_Bread Tsuteto (WOLF) blademonkey626 BeefStu The wolves kinda messed up in the middle of the game. From what I hear, ddrruler said that him and slacky wanted to kill dAnceguy117, but Tsuteto said that slacky wanted to kill ddrruler "For being a noob" and Tsuteto wanted to do that too. It turned out slacky did want to kill dAnceguy, so the wolves killed ddrruler for their Night kill, then slacky lead you all to vote for Tsuteto because he lied. For Special Roles, the wolves killed the Guardian first, then you guys lynched the Seer. The Psychic stayed alive until the end of the game though. Ok, now for negitive comments. This game went quite slow guys, we really need to pick up the pace. There should be no excuse for inactivity. I won't play in TWG XII just so I can play in jTWG IV so I can help you all out. |

Night One Well here's how it all started. Night One, barely anywhere into the game and just after it started I get my role, I am the Guardian. Very shortly afterwords I get another PM, this one is from Spheroid who tells me. "Alright. I know your the gaurdian. I'm the seer. It may be beneficial to work together. If you want to, I can send you information later on about who's who." Now this made me think. If he had sent me a PM saying "I know you're a human..." then I would have still been suspicious. But he sent me a PM directly saying that I am the Guardian. He sent it very shortly after the game had begun, I don't think I had talked to anyone, and it stated that I was the Guardian without any doubt. Way too good for a guess, he was the Seer. From that moment he was the only player I gave 100% trust without any doubt at all. From that moment we hatched a plan. We had a Seer-Guardian alliance from Night One, how could we possibly lose? Using the fact that Spheroid was new to the game I decided it would be best if we used this as a weapon. The plan was this - we would convince everyone that the Guardian was dead Night One. Not only the wolves, but the humans would believe it. How? We would make it sound like Spheroid was such a noob Seer that he didn't even know it was a bad idea to accidently reveal himself as the Seer. We would have someone say that the Guardian was dead, and Spheroid would back that person up by revealing himself as the Seer and saying he looked at Blade. (He didn't of course, but this is what we wanted the wolves to believe). The wolves would attack him Night Two and I would guard him. It would become obvious on Day Two he's actually a human, and there should be no further reason to doubt he's the Seer. It was the absolute perfect plan - almost. Day One The big day was here finally, and I was looking forward to it. At this point the problem was who to get to originally post that the Guardian was dead and how to get them to do it. I couldn't post it myself, it would make me look suspicious, and being the Guardian it was neccisary that I kept myself to a low profile. We had to get someone else to do it. My original thought was Patron. He had me fairly convinced that he was a Human, but unfortunatly - slacky had me even more convinced that HE was a Human. This was the risk in our plan, we had to take one person who we trusted most into our alliance and tell them everything. It would be too suspicious otherwise to just tell them to say that - the Guardian is dead. The only was we would be able to get them to do it was to tell them the whole plan. So we did, I told slacky everything. Including the fact that I was Guardian  . He posted that the Guardian was dead, things were going to plan. Rye_Bread, one of my other friends made a comment at hearing this "We win", it sounded supicious and I casted a vote against him, I somehow started a bandwagon, bad mistake. (I later learned that he was being sarcastic, not a great thing to do in TWG) Anyway, soon after slacky's post, Spheroid made his "mistake". This got EXACTLY the response we were looking for, he did it in such a noobish and innocent sounding way - almost everyone completely believed he was the true Seer. He signed off his account and went on his second account to avoid awkword questioning, he talked only to me for the rest of the day. Here was the risk in our plan. slacky is a manipulative player, it's true. He had me very convinced that he was a Human, I decided to use him as the only non-seer'd player to take part in our plan. However, no matter how much I trusted that he was Human I did not trust the fact 100%. Therefore I made a backup plan, during one conversation with Spheroid I said "If I die tonight - SLACKY IS A WOLF" He was the only other person who knew I was the Guardian. It made perfect sense, everyone believed the Guardian was dead and the Seer was stupid enough to reveal himself. The choice for wolfing was obvious, kill Spheroid. This would result in a guarenteed win for the Humans, and the only person who could possibly prevent this was slacky. That sentence was my insurance that if I died, I would take down a wolf with me. At this point I was also invited into an alliance with patron and dan. However, I was feeling very secure with my current alliance and didn't really go deep into this one. I only went into it to avoid possible lynch votes as I was the Guardian. I did not know if either of them were wolves and definatly kept it a possiblity, I did not tell them anything. Night Two Spheroid Seer'd Danceguy. I now had two people I trusted 100%. We immidatly contacted him in a chat room and filled him in on everything. Absolutly everything. I should have at this point emphasized the point that slacky would be a wolf if I died but I didn't, my mistake. There's not much more to be said. Day Two Here's where I was most dissapointed. I come home to find numerous IM's from several players telling me I died. Yipee, I couldn't believe it. slacky was a wolf. I knew now that he was and I knew he was doomed. Spheroid provided TONS of direct evidence using every possible thing that I have mentioned in this analysis. slacky's defense was that he did not know I was the Guardian (he actually did, this was part of his manipulation). Being the manipulative player he is, he managed to convince practically everyone that Spheroid was the actual wolf and not him. Needless to say I was extremely angry and upset as I watched people who I now knew to be humans instalynch the Seer despite all the direct and perfect evidence showing that slacky's a wolf. Even how I specifically stated "If I die tonight - SLACKY IS A WOLF" seemed to do nothing. Absolutly and completely stunned, the day ended and the Seer was dead. He would have died during the night but at least he would have been able to Seer someone else first. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What else is there left to say? I had some fun hosting, but I had too much stress. Much more stress than I should have had. Never do that again guys, you don't fight against me. I can overrule you all.
I'm not hosting jTWG 4, but I may think about hosting a jTWG again. Trust me, I won't make the mistakes I did this time again. |

Ugh.. The idiot gaurdian could have gaurded me and this game would have been over from day 2. But NOOOOO... Whatever, you guys won't be hearing from me anymore. jTWG players are idiots (no offense to anyone who knows that I like them) and TWG is just boring... I'll stick to the RL version. I got screwed over.. >_< I think i'll play in the next twg if im allowed,slacky and I had this won from day one we knew 3 out of the 3 special roles.Freak you were dead from the first moment the game started but it had too be done I knew you would figure out slacky so you were going too die sonner or later...and one last thing I knew what was going on from day 1 I just lied my ass off

I don't have time to go into detail about what I thought of the game, but here's some stuff I would like to point out.
Gamepro did make the small mistake of telling me Freak was the gaurdian and not just that he had a special role. It was a small mistake that had large reprecussions (turned danceguy and tsuteto on me). Just something for the next host to keep in mind. Also, remeber to remain more open minded. Freak, if you claim to be so good at this, then why are you playing in jTWG?
And, I MIGHT play in TWG, but as I've seen, it looks REALLY slow, and you have to be REALLY involved...

I'm not claiming to be really good. I had a really good plan which got screwed over cause I trusted the wrong person.
This was my first TWG game ever. (I'm not counting II cause I got killed on Night One), so I wanted to get experience, plus play with my friends who signed up for this as well. |
