Default I'm a "newbie" w00t!

ok, so I started off on the wrong foot.. I'm apart of other forums and usually when we leave a vote on polls we leave a comment saying we were in there my bad. Sorry!

So, I'm Phox.. or Becca.. whatever you want to call me. I've been playing FFR for a awhile.. so i guess my "joined date" is when I first came into the forum.. today.. cause usually I just play never have checked out any of the other stuff. So here's a HEY to ya'll.

Ha! Well what do you know. Someone who claims to have joined a long time ago, and really did... before me even.

Welcome to the forums. Read the stickies and rules. Also, don't use coloured text. It bothers most people.

Also, please try and use the best grammar/spelling/use of english you can. It gets really annoying trying to read poorly compiled loads with no capitalization and needless word shortening (you changed to u-honestly, is it really that hard to just press the Y and U keys?). I know you aren't guilty of this, but don't make a habit of doing it.

One more thing: take it easy on the elipsises. You know, the 3 periods. When used once in a while, they are effective, but when used 80,000 times in one paragraph, it becomes lame.

Im new too.To this forum anyway.Welcome to us!

Afrobean, please don't flame me for the lack of a ' between my "I" and "m."
Or for my incomplete sentences.
I see grammar is important to you, and that's ok.

I have a really bad habit at using . . . sorry. I will try to watch it while I'm in here. It's amazing that this forum is actually watched and read and people take time to control and watch what goes on. The other forums I'm in drive me crazy with the stupid stuff that is talked about and the "teenybopper" talk. If you know what I'm talking about. I'm sure you do. It drives me crazy!

Thanks for the welcome Afrobean! Also thanks for taking time to "verify my identity" I wouldn't lie about that. Yea, I've been around for awhile so I guess the join date is just from when you first come to the forum. Well, I'm out to go play a few rounds for now, until I go watch American Idol. (I'm hooked I can't help it)
Bye!

Welcome there! I'm new here too and just getting used to the whole "You have to be a genius speller to be talking on this sight or you're not good enough" vendeda....but hey, it's good practice for all you "non-genius" spellers out there. Anyways I hope you have some fun with FFR and come and challenge me anytime you want.

P.S. Sorry about the whole "genius speller" situation, but there are young grasshoppers out there that don't even know what elipsises means that are members of this site. Let's all pull the underwear out of our butts and take a breather. This site is for fun, NOT critisising or telling people how to type!

Hi, i am pretty new to the whole FFR thing, already said hi but urm yea just wanted to chat about the spelling thing. I think it is great, i got a warning about it on my very first thread as i am a big culperate for shortening words (like leaving g's of the end of things like gettinG and havinG). So was a little scared of putting other posts up incase i was doing something really wrong. BUt now i am used to writing with real words and sentances, it is nice to have real words back on the internet, even though i have to go through my posts very carefully to make sure i haven't accidently slipped any 'lazy spelling short cuts' in there. Hehe.
RIght i am just rambling aimlessly now... slightly bored today

I agree, but sometimes is just really stinks that there are people being so strict on it. Sometimes I just want to be sarcastic and day something really rude but I don't because I respect what they are saying. It's like please forgive me because I'm not a genious (sp?!) at spelling and I shortcut my words to type faster. It's habit.

Thanks. Haven't had much time to be on the board lately. Just been playing when I get a chance. Getting ready to go to a concert right now. Leaving anytime now.

Hiya, I'm MythamX; better known as 'Sam' or 'That one guy'. And I have one piece of advice while you're in FFR forum:

RUN! RUN WHILE YOU CAN! ESCAPE FROM THIS SICK, TWISTED MADNESS OF TOPICS AND POSTS!! SAVE YOURSELF!!

Otherwise, see ya around.

The reason spelling and grammar is so important is because this is a forum, not an instant messaging system. Each post has lots of value. I mean come on, you have your own personalized avatar and sig, treat your posts with respect!

Other than that, Welcome!

You have to be 13 to join. I think that thats a proper age to know the word elipses.
Also, is spelling all you care about in these forums? All over the place, that's all you've been bitching about.

Did you mean to post this in Chickster's noob topic?? Or are you talking to me because I've pretty much just come to terms with it and don't care now it's just stupid to argue about anymore.
