Manhattan was my first try. Only got it because I saw afro get a good score on it so I thought I'd try...I'll play it a few more times and see if I can AA

Tamayura I just felt like posting...for...unknown reasons. Not even my best score, but I don't have ss of the best, so meh. Most misses are from the short 32nd part at the end. mash mash mash...

Just kidding. You're doing better than you'd probably ever do onehanded- well for now at least. Once you're really good at index, then start onehanded and it'll be way easier.

I'm pretty sure that all those scores kill my bests on those songs, so great job.

No, because after playing index and being really good, it helps in learning to play onehanded. Sort of like how I used to not be able to index for shit (ie couldn't even do easy 8ths runs), so I never did it. Then one day I decided to try it again, and lo and behold, I could do some stuff I didn't expect (I passed Quasar within a week, I think).

I think the reason it helps is that you already know how to read arrows good, and you already have dexterity in your fingers.

Can you justify how I got better at index without playing then? No, you can't. It was because I had gotten way better at onehanded (from thinking that Quasar was impossible onehanded to getting a B on it).

Also, note all the people who never play onehanded, but can still get better scores than me.

All the people who never play one handed, but still get better scores then you can do so because their fingers are faster then yours... Technique doesn't mean that much if you can move as fast as Nima or somebody like that can... How did I get better at index without playing it? I moved my fingers as fast as I could and I hit the arrows... sounds simple enough to me...

And err I know very well that I'll never even come close to passing the stuff I am now one handed...the easiest song i have in my entire folder now is probably quasar (i deleted all the NVLM crap). last time I did play with one hand, I was playing stuff like breaking the common (three fingers) I doubt I can do much better then that.
