Starcraft or warcraft?

Which is better? There has been many debates and flame wars between the two so i wanted to no form you guys which is better? I dont no which to stay on. i have both and there both fun.

Seriously they are both basically the same.....just different character set ups and such...heh oh well. Go ahead and flame me if I'm wrong. StarCraft all the way though.

They're not the same.

But this is a stupid arguement.

They're both better in different aspects. One is not superior to the other and there will always be people that like one more than the other.

But yea I like starcraft more.

I spent years playing wc2... i never got that into starcraft though, but I really liked Turret D..heh.. and i still have to hide my install cds for diablo2 from myself (still sucessful, havent played in 2 1/2 years).

i like both but starcraft more, but warcraft is great cause it has a nice rpg aspect to it.

I dont know which to chose there both so good but i think i have to go with Warcraft just because of the new World of Warcraft. Im so hooked, Its like World of Warcrack!

I just recently started playing StarCraft again...damn you neogrande for releasing this old habit....Anyways I still enjoy playing it. MM you and me need a rematch sometime.

I personally like starcraft more, and no NOT because of all those unlimited money $$$ maps (those are for n00bs olol). It's because starcraft is older, meaning MORE UMS MAPS. Turret Defense and Cannon Defense are AMAZING games. Toads Turret (if you have brood war) is even BETTER. Cat and Mouse Winter...Dodge the Rapist... BOMBERMAN. There are so many more I could go on about.

So yeah to me, Starcraft > Warcraft

You can't forget phantom..that game just kicks ass. Best UMS (sort of melee) one i have ever played.

SC was released in 1998... WC1 was released in 1994.

And I like the warcraft series better, mainly because of WoW; and also the storyline of WC is better imo.

I started a creating Maps for Starcraft, and that was where I started finding the fun. In fact, I created a map around 1999 of 2000, and we kept revising it. My brother is a great programmer on the SC map editor, and now, the map is incredible. It is a 2 day long game, and an incredible map.
