o shi.
I have mine starting tommorow, I think that I'm going to be ok though. I am more worried about my friend who will get grounded for like ever If he doesn't pull off a 3.5 GPA. The only exam I'm worrying about is probably science, which I know fairly well so I should be fine. The rest are simple exams like computer systems I, Math, Debate etc. etc. Wish me luck! P.S. lol I drank some pepsi and started eating the ice and now my mouth tastes like coffee. I don't drink coffee though. |

Anyone with a normal, intuitive school schedule had finals in December.
So, leet, you're in...what...eighth grade? That's the last I can remember having generic "science" as a class. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

9th, and technically it's "Earth Science" because I missed testing into biology by like a few points on the test. Which blew a lot because Earth science is basically a compilation of what you have learned in every other year of science. Oh and our school is stupid and doesn't put exams in before schristmas break (lol in b4 break).

I had them last semester. They were quite easy. Didn't study for anything and got all As... 100s on some.

gotta be with guido on this one.... exams are over kiddies
![]() My school district has exams scheduled for the end of January, but our school bitched about it for a while and then basically created its own special schedule. december exams are much much nicer. You don't forget about everything over break. |

Highschool finals are a joke. Therre's no reason to study if you paid attention during the semester/trimester.
P.S. I have 4.0 GPA, by the way. |

Yeah finals seem pretty easy if you know your stuff and can understand most of what they teach in class... 9th grade anyway. Finals for me at the end of January.
But (and I digress) what SUCKS is that at our school, they don't offer increased GPA's for Honors/AP classes. 4 for A. Nothing else. They probably have that at some of your guys' schools, too. |

Haha. I got a 15% multiplier to my semester averages. So, if I made straight 87s for my entire career I would end up with just over a 100 GPA. All I had to do was make an 80 and I would get the multiplier. It ruled like nothing else. Although, the year after I graduated they cut it back to a 10% multiplier and lowered the required grade to a 70 (passing, that is).

Last Semester had my finals. All wrapped up in a pretty bag. Now, don't be starteld at my grades, they're just grades after all. As my father explained to me, "It would be a sad day the day you bring home straight A's."
Orchestra - 100 P.E. - 100 Spanish - 98 AP English - 88 Solo Orch. - 100 AP World History (WHAP) - 93 Chemistry - 88 Algebra II - 91 To reiterate, my dad would kill me if I bring how straigh A's. I have to cheat the system some and live. If I wanted straight A's I'd drop FFR and devote myself to schoolwork. Frankly, I hate schoolwork. Q |

Hah, you know what's purely awesome?
My parents agreed to pay me $500 if I ever managed straight a's on the final marks. And, as much as a genius as I am, I never came close. IN FACT, I passed World History 2 with a 63.8%. A 64% is passing, and my school rounded up. I made C's and B's throughout most of my high school career, only to finally receive a report card consisting of grades 85% and up for my final report card. However, this is only because I had 4 electives (all computer-based) out of 7 classes. I don't understand how finals are right now for you guys, since in our district, the finals are only in June. Midterms were in November. College finals were in November. January is meaningless here... But, regardless of all that, here's what I ended up with. CS112 - A- (The teacher made retarded tests with questions that had multiple answers and only promised to fix it for next semester; not give me credit). HIST100 - B (Better than I've ever done in History. I'm very proud). ENG101 - 100% A++++++++++++++++++++++ (I loved this course. The teacher and I ragged on the other students for their poor grammar). MATH113 - F. F. F. F. F. (Primarily my fault for lack of interest, but I still hated the teacher. I understood all the material and still failed. His tests were totall unproportional to his lectures and I believe in our class, 5% passed the course). ~Squeek |
