Mine works perfectly...

The only thing I can think of is the SMLan metrics since I know I dont have them installed on RC2 after I upgraded from A24...

Actually I heard from origamikid that his SM just went to initializing hardware then froze. He could reinstall it and it was fixed.

Tank this morning said he had the same problem except reinstall wouldn't fix. :/

I had the same problem as origamikid.

I just upgraded from a21 to RC2, and it works fine now.

I already use rc2. alpha 20 doesn't work either. XD

It didn't work last night when I wanted to join Origami's game, but I installed RC2 and it worked. Move your songs / themes / other folders with stuff in them out of the stepmania folder, uninstall it, then start fresh.

This worked for me. Not like I play SM anyway...the game I play all the time broke for a while, then fixored itself.

Figured out the problem. Yea, do what squeek said if you're using RC2. If you're not using RC2, use it, it seems to fix the problem o_O pain in the ass, but still.

OMG its the Y2K5SM virus. Spazz figure it out first ;o It must be. WHO DUN IT. WHO TOOK THE LAST COOKIE.

my a23 didn't work, moved up to rc2 and it works good now. It was freezing on the load up screen.

this happened to origamikid yesterday in the middle of smlan, his stepmania just didn't work :P

try re downloading

that worked for origami
