ok i downloaded stepmania and i can get to the music page but i cant figure out how to pick a song and all there is is roulette, random, and empty

does it matter what type of file it is because all of the files im using are mp3's |

maybe your pc can't process the link of songs for sm or there's something missing in your sm file.

Maybe you don't have the songs in the right folder depth. It has to go /Stepmania/Songs/<Group Name>/<Song Name>/<Song Files Go Here>.

If what ad0gg said doesn't work, go into options and choose "Reload Songs/Courses." I remember I used to have to do that every time I added a new song, or it wouldn't add the song to the roulette.
