They had less perfects than you, but 1 great or something. But good job....Get about 30 perfects and you can beat that.

Wow, that is ridiculous. I thought I had something similar happen to me as well, but not as drastic as the example shown. That's pretty ridiculous to say the least.

Maybe it depends on where you get the marvs in terms of when the song will end.

you get more points as the song ends, it's the max2 scoring system.

Thank you Justaguy. Someone finally understands what is going on.

The way the scoring is handled is by the MAX2 scoring system. As the step number increases so does the step score. So if you get a great in the beginning it affects your score much less then if you got a great at the end.

but soccr.... your method is affecting the score MUCH more than MAX2 does... in SM, if you get 30 perfs difference, it doesn't matter where you got them... the score will be worse with more perfs. plus... that is insane. no way can you have it that a score with 48 perfs gets a higher score than one with 15.

perhaps you should tweak the scoring so that its more linear, or even perfectly linear like in R1.
