You have to play the game, and not suck too badly, and at the end, you get credits.

you play a song...and whenever you fail or pass it....you'll see a number in the bottom right corner...those arethe credits you earned for that song

when your back at the menu picking your song...in the bottom right again...there will be a larger number.....that is the credits youve earned all together unless you spent some on a song
