i submitted this to the FAQ deal so anyone else who was curious could find out.
but anyways, I use "Garage Band" for Audio creations, but thats more of a very good recording studio and editor. it doesnt have the best capabilities for techno... except what ive submitted :P I use a Mac. for like everything i do, but as we all know macs dont get the best game capabilities, or in this case, music makers. can you please inform me of other music makers that are compatible with Macs? and also a list for windows in case i get bored at school for multimedia animation.... (3hours) :P thank you, ~saigo

You could just go to an online shop and look at software available for a list. Check audiomidi.com
Macs are often preferred by professionals for music software, so don't think you are limited.. Reason 2.5 Logic Cubase SX Abelton Live Nuendo (?) Digital Performer Those are some that I know of. They're all quite a bit more expensive and powerful than Garage Band though, so I don't know if you'd be interested. Unfortunately, I don't know of anything more "entry" level priced like FL Studio or Project5 for macs. |

Sweet. Definitely a good choice, especially for starting out. If you didn't know already, you can probably get a big discount on Reason for being a student. audiomidi.com has discounts on Reason, I know, and so does www.academicsuperstore.com . I'm not up to date with the current prices, but when I got Reason, I got about $200 off the regular price that way.
