Don't know why you're so paranoid about it. =P
I guess just edit the picture file in the theme you use. Make it fit the size of the pictures. So if the character pictures are 50X50 and the viewing window picture is 50X70 (for example), them go to like Photoshop and trim it to make it 50X50. (or something like that) Hope this helps.

yes. i cannot play very good because of this MONSTER bug. i'm leaving stepmania if it isn't fixed.

yeah ya did and I applause ya tnyhwk900, but the other 2 comments were just mocking. It wasn't a bug or anything, just trying to keep my SM up to date.
