No one that I know seperates it by genre or difficulty. We all do it by simfile author(s).

I used to separate my stepfiles by difficulty... I had one folder for new songs, then after I judged their difficulty I'd move them to the correct folder of difficulty... but I got lazy, and tired to having to redo all my records after moving the songs around... I currently have the same system, but stopped moving all the songs from the "assorted" folder, so I've got an "assorted" folder with 220 songs lol... I manage by having wheel speed set on really fast and holding down tab all the time...
Anyways, GJ Snapps... fun stepfile as well...

I got a folder called songs with 515 files in it.. mostly all ddr originals.. from ddr 1st mix to extreme...
